Kyrie destroyed Serbia in last final, and won MVP. Kemba is doing the opposite here, big choke.

Probably the worst ever put together US team of all time. Even worse than when they used to put college guys in. At least those teams had balance.... this team was trash.

Pop blew this one imo...

F*cked up keeping Kemba in and not putting smart back in earlier. The kid from the spurs was getting baked all 4th quarter.

Small ball helped them to make that 17 point swing until Kemba was inserted.
Yeah Kemba playing iso hero ball in 4th ruined the game for USA. Mitchell was destroying France in third, Brown, Smart was playing well. He came in when they led with 7 points and he never passed again...

They got back into the game by Mitchell going nuclear. Kemba played great defense on Donovan in the 4th to take away that option. USA just doesn't have a matchup against Gobert.

Im talking about Browns and Smarts D on Gobert not Donovans scoring

It wouldn't have been a comeback without Mitchell's scoring outburst...and FRA adjusted well to the defense. As long as they didn't try to post Gobert up, he dominated.

Mediocre bigs, no playmaker, what could go wrong? Even someone like Trae Young would have been a help.

It's not Gobert. Gobert is dumb. 9' wingspan jumping at Kemba Walkers 3, he's just lucky Kemba choked. Gobert can't punish a 6' 7" guy guarding him. He's very mediocre. If he had like Kurt Thomas' jumper he'd be all world.

Momentum started to switch when Kemba was in the lineup and forcing things, instead of letting red hot Mitchell do his thing.

Also no idea why Joe Harris stayed in for that long
