Make an adjustment? I think France finished the game on like a 20-5 run.

What adjustments? They just stand still and keep looking at each other, and keep playing 1on1 and running into Rudy.
Kerr and Pop loves ball movement.U wanna say that they didnt work on that? :D

It was more on the defensive side of the ball where the issue was. How many times is Gobert going to get switched on to Marcus Smart in the post before they realize that it's not working?

It was a matter of time. Average team, no center, no anchor. So many mediocre players (Smart, White, Plumlee) and an overrated coach with 0 FIBA experience. "We DoN't NeEd CeNtErS" the US people said, and a great center has singlehandedly kicked them out of the competition in quarterfinals, LMAO.

No way... someone please get coach Pop out of there!!!

Holy **** dude!! Did you even watch the game!? Small ball lineup of Mitchell/Smart/Middleton/Barnes/Brown basically helped make the whole 17 point swing. Gobert was destroying USA when they played normal ball with Turner at center.

Just because something worked once doesn't mean that you should keep doing it forever. Small ball ended up hurting when France made adjustments and Pop didn't have an answer.

Brown and Smart put them back in to the game with that kinda D on Rudy in 3qt.D wasnt clearly the problem.U cant win game when pretty much all guys play hero ball. How much times did Kemba and other guards throw ball out when they kept running into Rudy?Idk how much, but they kept running into Rudy for no fcking reason

Spain-France 2014 because it was totally unexpected. It is not an upset today.

His answer should've been benching Walker. When Harris gave up quick 4 points + TO (started to swing the game back in favor of France), Pop benched him immidatley. For some reason Walker was allowed to play through his crappy preformance on both sides of the floor.

Kemba stunk it up and Mitchell alone doesn't cut it.

Kemba played today?

Sorry for such a comment, but I expected this during Parker era, and it happens now, when superstars Say no to team USA, and players just below fear to lose (except Kemba and Donovan), so really average NBA players came to China. And for USA, I only saw Donovan Mitchell, and guys getting foul troubles because they didn't make différence between good defense with intensity, and agressivity with hands (pushing, grabbing arms etc ... Instead of being string on feet)

I would say your country is a lot more well rounded now than during Parker's prime, if he were in his prime today with that roster you'd probably beat the US by 20 today, and would competitive / threat to win in Tokyo.

Gobert is a massive problem for any team that tries to go small.

That is what I expected with roster 2015-2016. But Parker during season 2014-2015 get knee injury whereas he was maybe the best PG in FIBA and NBA basketball. We were too much confident, although refs were not our friends, we should had won. Then Parker had second before Olympics, Pietrus still in the roster while Moerman get very good, Fournier out whereas a forward go to Rio injuried. It had been Parker tour, like the ridiculous Kobe Tour in 2016.
LA 2028 (Starters):
Francisco - Strazel - Malédon - Traoré ?
Coulibaly - Fournier
Risacher - Cordinier
Yabusele- Hoard - Essengue/Penda?
Wembanyama - Lessort - Raynaud / Beringer /Sarr?

Lol That is a way to think

The other way is France let Aussies too much open 3 points , and Gobert had a very Bad game.

So, good Luck for Australia against Spain, because they Can be serious a whole game unlike France (but first: Czech Republic, let's respect them)

another way to think is that australia had a bad game and should have beaten france by 21pts like at the olympics

According to Sports Illustrated, the US have 11 guys in the top 100 (KEMBA WALKER - 20th, KHRIS MIDDLETON - 27th, DONOVAN MITCHELL - 29th, JAYSON TATUM - 35th, MYLES TURNER - 47th, BROOK LOPEZ - 66th, JAYLEN BROWN - 68th, HARRISON BARNES - 72nd, MARCUS SMART - 82nd, DERRICK WHITE - 91st, JOE HARRIS - 95th)
All other teams (including France) have 0-2 players in the top 100.
What a bust :D

Just watching the highlights for France, you could really see how Gobert made life hell for Team USA just by existing

For anyone who watched team USA preparation games and games through this tournament this shouldn't be a surprise.
This year's team USA was just another good/avarege team among the others.

Look at this teams stats in world cup:

1. Points per game - 10th place ( 86pts avg.)
2. 2point field goal % - 12th place (52.6%)
3. 3point field goal % - 18th place (33%)
4. Assists per game - 12th place (19.3 assists per game)
5. Three throw shooting % - 17th place (73.5%)
.....

Does this look like a "great" teams stats?
In total efficiency or efficiency per game they are in the 7th place in the cup so this is where they will probably end up in the end and it will be fair looking at the stats and looking at their play..

Don't worry, the Knicks will mess it up and trade him for table scraps.

I'm already preparing myself for seeing Elfrid Payton play 30mpg over him.
