He played 5 games, averaged 6 points in 12 mins, shot 54% from the field, 37% from 3 and 50% FTs. Strangely FIBA's official website has no data on rebounds or blocks, but he had some of those too.

Personally I liked his D and although he was pretty neutral on offense he also didn't harm the team with TOs, mental mistakes or bad decisions. Showed some court vision too. Overall he looked useful to me.

Thanasis world cup at least showed that he can play and has some skills that could provide useful at some point this season.

3 & D wings are always valuable at. He's better than any 10 day call up like Liggins or Toupane, but a notch below Snell.

There were/are still more valuable uses of that roster spot, but, if needed, he might be able to offer some real minutes contribution.

That said, I don't expect him to be part of the rotation, but, I would think he'll have his chance at minutes at some point.

Besides the off the court value he provides to Giannis having his brother with him 24/7, and a guy who will give it to Giannis straight when he needs to hear something and he'll always be in the gym whenever Giannis wants to go.

His effect on Giannis off the court, is likely greater than anything he'll provide on the court, but it will be interesting to see their chemistry on the floor when they get the chance to play together.

One of my buddies spotted Dragan Bender in Milwaukee looking like, in his words, a “a giant Austrian DJ.”

What you’re saying is he’ll never play 36 minutes in his career.

Maybe if his name was Denise instead of Dennis.

It's not me who's saying it, but I agree. If you mean 36 minutes per game.

I’d agree, but lest we forget Tim Frazier played an entire game + OT for us last year

Great point. But Thanasis would probably foul out in 25.

I don’t see Bud playing Thanasis very much.

Not sure if it was brought up here or not, but Chris Vernon pocked Frank Mason as a guy he thinks could become a legitimate player (Mason Island baby) on one of the Ringer NBA podcasts. They did a whole segment on dark horse players taking a leap.

He also picked Jabari. Lol

Listening to NBA Radio. Justin Termine just told a story about the Parker/Embiid draft. Termine said that the Bucks front office/ownership asked Dunleavy what he thought of the prospects. Dunleavy told the Bucks that the only way you don’t pick Embiid is if you believe he’s never going to play due to injury.

Jose Caderon seems like he’d be awesome guy to have in the organization in some capacity. Remember Dave Babcock wanted to bring him in way back before he ultimately went with his brother Rob in Toronto.

Still in on this as well. Wouldn't need him much in the regular season but he'd be huge for us if we want to win in June.

After listening to a voice actor read his book I’m pretty confident Iggy and Milwaukee aren’t a match. Nothing personal, just different wavelengths.

Imagine if they drafted Embiid and the next year had a few less wins and drafted Devin Booker. Having Midds, Booker, Giannis and Embiid would have been fun

53 minutes of Tim Frazier baby!

I think they were referring to him having 8.1 fouls per 36--so he'd foul out after about 27 minutes.

I understood that, I was just pointing out that he will have the opportunity no doubt.

This game deserves it’s own spot in the Bucks record books
