Supes who does Trae draw on D?
That rookie from Washington. One of the best perimeter talents defensively in awhile but he will be food with Young. My guess is we will see a lot of Len screens if Horford decides to defend Collins otherwise, a lot of Collins screens. We just need to abuse their weak spots. They don't have much length when Embiid is out.
Defensively, Trae will likely guard Matisse. Which will leave Richardson to Cam and Simmons to Hunter but both can guard either player. Trae can play free satety this game on defense. Philly lacks offensive firepower when Embiid is out and they have to score based on their defense which means like v. Orlando, avoid turnovers and we should get them around 35-37% fg%. Philly shoots it worse as a group. We just need to play physical which we have with the Trae, Len, Collins and the rooks. Where we need to beat them is the bench. Like us, they can go 9-10 deep. They don't have scorers but they got guys who know their roles.
Matchup we need to dominate is Mike Scott v. Jabari Parker. We win this matchup, we likely win the game. Their 2nd unit has no one that can guard the PnR or Trae Young since Trae is playing 37mpg now. We will abuse the Burke with Bolden or O'Quinn pairing pretty bad. The bench like v. Orlando is how we will win this game
