How do you adjust for a guy like Siakam? Unless teams are just going to throw double teams at him every possession I don't see how you can stop him.
NBA coaches have an uncanny ability to find holes in your game. It's like that's what they do for a living or something.
I get it, it's hard to see struggle when everything is going good. In one of Paul George runs where he was averaging 27 PPG I didn't see how he'd end up at 21 for the season, but he did. And yes in the case of PG and Oladipo, they just threw a 2nd defender at them every time they touched the ball almost for a while.
But what do they do when there are no holes?

He got shut down because he couldn't buy a call while he was being whistled for some BS against Giannis (like the and-1 in Q1 where Siakam didn't even touch him) on the other end while Giannis can grab Siakam on a spin move and get away with it. He didn't have a good game tonight, but getting even a single trip to line would have helped a bit.LBJKB24MJ23 wrote:After tonight’s game. No, he’s not a top 5 player. Still limited to his constant knack for picking up dumb fouls.
Premier matchup and got shut down. maybe top 10 but I think he is in conversation for top 15

I was also smiling tonight. Seeing Giannis + Bledsoe almost lose choke a 25 point lead to a this super weak raptors team only enforced the belief that they'll fall short (again) in the playoffs and Giannis will leave
