I’m always wary of contract year players for this reason, their value becomes slight to massively over valued in which many teams just never take the next step after a re sign. Because they never really get any better due to their limited cap flexibility. We’re relying on too much rookie scale contracts help along with a resurgent Rose albeit unhealthy-ish.
Trade market doesn’t look much better either with the kings and nyk taking up all the wings and depth. Knicks could go on a fire sale though if they implode.
