That loser screwed us so hard.
So many Suns fans were stanning him for much of his tenure here.
In the end, he wasn’t even that much better than his predecessor.

Jstock12 wrote:Doncic / Booker back-court would be insane. Doncic wouldn't feel the need to be the clear #1 option, so his efficiency would go up significantly (maybe even close to 50/40/90), Booker would also get many more easier shots, so he would stay fresh for a longer time. I can't really think of a way to stop them. The league would have been screwed for years to come.
p.s. Pretty sure Ryan McDonough would still be the GM though.....

We are talking about interesting things that happen around the NBA. It's pretty interesting that a player who is 20 years old is averaging 30-10-10 and his mediocre team is 9W-5L in the West. And that player could have been selected for the Suns one year ago in the draft with the #1 pick. We are commenting things like that.

I dont get the point of fantasizing about a Booker/Doncic pairing when that's imposible already.
I say it for the good of your mind health mostly.

Yeah I can appreciate you guys discussing Luka's actual performances in the "Around the NBA" thread, but all this fantasizing/ rosterbating about what if Backcourts should probably go in the "fantasy basketball" thread. That's basically what it is.

nevetsov wrote:Well all of the "whatif" stuff certainly doesnt belong in the "around the nba" thread, which I'm guessing you know is for what's going on.. you know, Around the NBA.
It is all speculative so maybe all this stuff should move to that thread so the people who come here for legitimate nba discussion can just avoid that thread all together. Or if that's not enough, make a new thread for it.

nevetsov wrote:Or perhaps if we're talking about potential draft blunders, it belongs in the draft thread then?
Again, I don't think most mind people talking about Doncic in this thread if he has a great game/ statline because it's actually around the nba.
But when that becomes "why didn't we draft him, I can't believe we made such a big mistake, Ayton sucks imagine him playing with Booker instead" it becomes theoretical and subjective, which over time gets redundant. I understand it's a fine line.
