Is your point that because the Heat are winning the first quarter, that statement is untrue?

I think most people were saying that Jimmy can't be the best player on a championship team. That hasn't been disproved.

But Zach LaVine can...

Said no one ever. But keep laughing at yourself.

I know you didn't say that, but it's funny how the Bulls replaced Jimmy Butler with the likes of Zach LaVine.

It's called accountability.

The thing that pisses me off about Boylen is he's gone from old school hardass to pushover softy.

Dude needs to stop caring about being liked and become more of a disciplinarian. There's a lot of mediocre effort an execution out there.

That just made me think of Wenington, Respect is better than being liked

Whether it is coaching or not - watching how these teams play offense and defence is worlds apart.

Miami offence is pull of pick and rolls, back screens and consistent movement; oh and then they hit their shots. Their defense doesn't over commit and they don't double and switch on every flipping pick and roll action.

Bulls offence does 1-2 dribble hand offs - then just seems to fall apart unless something obvious opens up and everyone just stands in their spots. No-one comes to provide a pick for the ball handler and guys just stand in the corner. And our defence....double every pick and then switch everything; it isn't just Zach that gets lost on those switches.

Also - why do Miami players seem to be amazing and ever improving; while ours just regress year after year...

The Bulls are playing as if it's a scrimmage in practice.

This team doesn't even want to play hard.

Yea, good times

But if you don't trade Jimmy, you won't be in the lottery! And if you're not in the lottery, how will you get players like Nunn or Robinson?

Has nothing to do with Heat rooks being superior talents to the Bulls recent draft picks. If anything, Bulls have the higher upside youngsters. You could take almost anyone & insert them into Miami’s elite coaching system, and it would probably be successful. If C.White were on Miami he’d probably be the top ROY candidate right now.

OK... But trading Jimmy didn't suddenly fix the crappy framework of our team. And it certainly seems like we're worse off now then we were then

Heat just play good basketball man.

No egos. Just keep it moving and shoot when you’re open.

Spo is an actual NBA coach.

Boylen is a YMCA coach.

and another missed layup by the Bulls.... it's just unreal.....

and another missed layup by the Bulls. Wow.

Lucky the Heat just missed a couple wide open 3's... but there's a gimme layup anyway.

They had like no assets in 2016-2017 too.

We had Butler.

They're a clear playoff team now and we're lottery bound again.

I mean GarPax should be fired ASAP. Their expiration date has been reached as NBA general managers.

The initial wave of fire GarPax was in some part catharsis over having the drose/joakim/young jimmy era taken from us so prematurely due to the injury(ies).

But Pax screwing up this version of rebuild needs to be the last straw. Subjectively it's embarrassing to have such a long tenure with these awful and depreciating results.

Why is their coach calling a timeout after 1 turnover? I thought you’re supposed to wait until your team fizzles all lead before doing that?

They let that Duncan Robinson shoot 2 3-pointers in a row, miss them, and then score an easy lay up. Really? Really? Go f*** off
