FOH, anybody that wants this clown in NY deserves the circus he would bring with him
and he seems a little slow footed, that dunk barely made it over the rim.

I think it's something that some teams and fans haven't adjusted to. Players who couldn't make it in the league 10 or 20 years ago can now, if they can shoot and are skillful, if not as athletic, as long as they are athletic enough.
Even Jimmer still couldn't make it, even now. It has to be a tick more athletic than that, but not by a lot.

He’s literally nothing like Jimmer at all on either side of the court.

outside of him being white there is literally no similarities

Sometimes there are guys whose level of athleticism/skill doesn't play at the next level. I didn't say he was like Jimmer, just that it's a possibility. Again, if there is enough athleticism, I think the lack of defense lets more guys thrive who wouldn't have before.

Trey was worth the risk and so is Nico.

Anyone have a favorite Sg/SF to target in that range
Precious Achiuwa - perfect wing, loads of potential.
Aaron Henry - Defensive stud at the 3, needs to work on his shooting.
Maybe Josh Green or Cassius Stanley as a two guard, although I doubt Barrett wants to play the three.

If you really want a flashy PG with size, then atleast target the one who has better skills than Lamelo.

cole out of top tier, lamelo in. Nico 4th over cole.
Mock has us taking lamelo 3rd over cole

Achiuwa is definitely a 4 at this point, and he has struggled quite a bit thus far. He doesn't play like a wing at all and he doesn't have the tools either. His chance at success is from being an athletic 4 who develops more skills than the average 4 (but he has a lot to work on to get there).

Henry, I don't see him worth being a late lottery pick. Stanley has very few translatable NBA skills, I wouldn't draft him at all. Green should easily be able to play at the 3 spot, and that's what Barrett could/should play as well. Who cares where a young player wants to play if the coaching staff sees this as the best way forward? What a terrible precedent that would set.
