He didnt shoot well for sure. But he could have easily 20 assists, 0 turnovers, defend well, make an important reverse layup and 2 clutch fts, etc...

Usually I would agree with you that Rubio's positives outweigh the negatives. He played great in the first half, and I love his defense, facilitation and steadiness. But I also thought the Hornets strategy with us down the stretch was to force the ball into Rubio's hands on the perimeter. He was 0-5 from 3, but he also passed up a lot of shots because of how poorly he was shooting it. Sure, none of our guys were hitting last night, but his futility was to my eye the most glaring problem.
Though he was our best 3 pt shooter the previous game, at 4-6..so 4-11 over two games. Not bad. Players will have their ups and downs, and he's never been a great shooter but there is a reason teams have always been much much better when he is on the floor.
