He’s been very solid in Brads system and I fail to see an obvious upgrade who’s obtainable for Boston.
Theis should be a backup bigman, at either the PF or Center spot. Should not be traded

Yahoo reporting that the Cavs are looking to move Love.... And Boston is interested. No idea how that would possibly work without trading Gordon

Kanter, knight, love and delladova to portland
Whiteside and trent jr to boston.
Cleveland gets a very good player on a much lesser contract.
Portland scores a ton, doesnt defend but what else is new.
Lillard/mccollum/anthony/love/kanter-nurkic
Boston adds a very goos defensive center propelling them into the best league defense. Add a young bench sg duke alumni in trent jr.
Kemba/wannamaker
Smart/trent jr
Brown/semi
Tatum/gwilliams
Whiteside/theis
Maybe? Ive been drinking....

Doesn’t make sense for us unless we can add him without trading away our main guys, still not sure what the hurry is to trade away Hayward, and Cleveland I doubt wants to swap those two, I’d think they’d be looking for young players/picks.

If the Celtics want to be a serious contender, they need to upgdrade their frontcourt. How can they beat the 76ers/Bucks in a playoff series with Theis/Kanter/RWIII? Many times this season, this particular weakness concerning their lack of abilities to dominate the paint has been exposed. The most flagrant example was when they lost against the Kings. Surelly it's one of the tallest team in the League and it's not representative of the whole League. However, as I wrote it, Celtics' most serious rivals during the 3-4 next seasons will be the Bucks and the 76ers. Thus, they need to do something in order to hide this weakness.
I think Hayward is a very good player but I don't think it's a player who can carry this team to the Finals.
It's why I wouldn't mind if a swap was made. But as I said, I don't think the Cavs want Hayward anyways. I think Love would be an upgrade but his contract his awful and I doubt the Celtics want to give up draft picks and their rooks.
