Yet here we are talking about Ben Simmons and Embiid not being able to play with each other? Really?
They are 12-2 in their last 14 in large part because Harris has found his shot and is scoring more efficiently. The reason why people are talking about Simmons and Embiid not being able to play together is because you rarely see them play off one another, or have big statistical nights in the same game. In that 14 game stretch Simmons is now down to 13.4ppg, that is unacceptable for a former number 1 pick and soon to be max player. The defense is nice, but they didn't draft him to be Draymond Green, and realistically if they're playing a series and he has games like last night the Sixers will be in trouble. If the goal is to win a title, he has to be more assertive and aggressive on offense, the coach challenged him and since then he's actually gotten more passive.
