Playing with LeBron gives you automatic more calls, it's disgusting that it makes a difference, but it did with all his teams. Even scrubs playing with LeBron got superstar calls. It's a few things, from what I've seen. He's getting fouled a lot, but some of them are fairly soft calls that guys like Embiid aren't getting consistently. He's going to the basket more aggressively than in recent years instead of settling for long 2s. Defenses are also keying on LeBron, leaving guys out of position rotating to Davis. In NO, Davis was really the only consistent scoring threat. His game is much more suited to be a #2 offensively, so I'd say his success and FTA are mostly legitimate at this point.

The thing is Russ has always been high volume, high usage player. I guess he could still work off the bench for a contender in limited minutes but we have never seen it.

Well at least Denver, I'm pretty sure it's almost unanimous outside of Houston that the Rockets already are the fauxest of faux contenders, and have been for a couple of years now.

He never has never will. A 25% 3PT shooter should never go 0-8 from 3. Never understood that move for Houston. Westbrook will be scoring 20 ppg one year and out of the league the next.

The Nuggets were playing their 3rd game in 4 nights. The Warriors have steve kerr, who devised a brilliant game plan for Harden, who shot just 1 free throw. And that's with a less talented roster than the Bulls.
