Also, I am of the opinion that giving Shaq/Arci Dunn's minutes would be a break-even proposition.

I could see him taking the QO for $7M.

It makes me wonder if it's because he's playing with another great player (LeBron) or if the refs are purposely doing it. Hmmm.

It's a few things, from what I've seen. He's getting fouled a lot, but some of them are fairly soft calls that guys like Embiid aren't getting consistently. He's going to the basket more aggressively than in recent years instead of settling for long 2s. Defenses are also keying on LeBron, leaving guys out of position rotating to Davis. In NO, Davis was really the only consistent scoring threat. His game is much more suited to be a #2 offensively, so I'd say his success and FTA are mostly legitimate at this point.
Playing with LeBron gives you automatic more calls, it's disgusting that it makes a difference, but it did with all his teams. Even scrubs playing with LeBron got superstar calls. I remember from the time I still watched games with LeBron playing. It stopped me from doing that years ago.

I have a hard time seeing the Bulls put the QO out there if they still have Sato, Arch and Coby on the roster.

Man...Westbrook can't even the shoot an open corner 3 consistently. That's terrible.

Harden 7-12

Man, I sure hope the Lakers game and the Nuggets games are decent because this has been one crappy day of games on TV. This is exactly what the NBA didn't need today was two blowouts. The Warriors without any stars beating Houston is nice but this isn't exactly a very exciting game nor has it been good to watch. A lot of empty seats too at this Warrior game.

He never has never will. A 25% 3PT shooter should never go 0-8 from 3. Never understood that move for Houston. Westbrook will be scoring 20 ppg one year and out of the league the next.

I was just thinking Russ will have about 3 more years. His current contract. But after that, I think he will be like Melo. Wondering why no one picked him up.

The thing is Russ has always been high volume, high usage player. I guess he could still work off the bench for a contender in limited minutes but we have never seen it.

This camera angle they insist on using, sucks.
KC: Do you still think you're a championship-caliber team?
Gar: I never said that and correct me if I'm wrong.
KC: You were asked that question at the news conference announcing Thibodeau's dismissal and you answered yes

People really think Mark Jackson should be a head coach in this league again.

Lowry not getting fined for flopping is disgusting. He’s the most painful player to watch in that regard, yes more so than Harden and Paul

Giannis 0-7 threes vs the Sixers. I know he made a bunch the other day and he’s improved but I hate seeing him take more than 2 a game. I think he’s averaging over 5 a game?

Nice to see the Clippers come back and win, the Lakers are such an unlikeable bunch

Teams are Rondo-ing him more than ever, just daring him to shoot. Good teams have already figured out how to beat Houston, just double Harden every time he touches the ball and force Westbrook to play half court offense. They are barely guarding him in the half court. If I were Morey, I'd be trying hard as hell to trade him now before he loses all his value. He's gotta know by now that if RW continues his chucking ways, HOU has no shot at a title.

Let's hope today was a sign of things to come, re: the Bulls' schedule the rest of the way.

The 2 bottom teams in the West just beat the #2 and #4 in the West, and the Pels did it on the road. A few wins like this would do wonders for the Bulls' confidence, and it might get them a little respect from the zebras so that Zach doesn't keep getting mugged with no foul called.

Or maybe, in the "Bulls must be horrible after seeing that Charlotte game" vein, the Rockets and Nuggets must be faux contenders if they can lose to horrible teams like GS and NO.

Well at least Denver, I'm pretty sure it's almost unanimous outside of Houston that the Rockets already are the fauxest of faux contenders, and have been for a couple of years now.

I wouldn't count on it (being a sign of things to come for the Bulls). Strange things always happen on Christmas day games. Players are in Holiday mode... overeating, partying a lot, etc. Wouldn't put much stock into a couple of upsets on a day like this.

Besides, the Warriors are going to get better as the season goes along. They have a good coach and that is what good coaches do (we have Jimbo the Clown). So, I could see this a sign of things to come for them, in a way. I think they are going to start surprising some teams. Maybe for the Pels too. They might get a surge when they get Zion back if he can stay on the floor for a while. Not a fan of Alvin Gentry though.

Luckily other stars caught on and beat him at his own game of super teaming in Durant and Kawhi.

I have never seen a star in any sport play on such a tilted court before in my life when it comes to calls and narratives. Every bspn commercial today featured lequit. Its absolutely disgusting. Hes lucky to not be ringless in all honesty.

I could make a huge list of critical calls/non calls in games that have swung series or even championships in his favor and hes still 3-6 despite hand picking his teams with talent while beating up kindergarten teams in the JV conference...all this while even scrubs like Dellavedova get calls.

2012 finals game 2 durant hack no call series tied 1-1 instead of down 2-0.

2013 finals game 6 danny green fouled by bosh on game tying 3 in ot no call.

2016 finals bush league move stepping over dray while lobbying for suspension post game 4. Weak. Game 6 phantom Curry foul trouble to force game 7.

2017 finals game 3 GSW beats fix shooting lights out from beyond the Arc. Game 4 refs double down everyone but Durant in foul trouble.

Even yday Lebron got away with 2 fouls when he had 3 in the third quarter to keep him out of foul trouble.

Its amazing to see the masses slurp all the propaganda up tbh.

Like Boozer. He averaged 18/10 per 36 in his LA NBA season, and when that ended nobody called. He didn't understand why not.

The Nuggets were playing their 3rd game in 4 nights. The Warriors have steve kerr, who devised a brilliant game plan for Harden, who shot just 1 free throw. And that's with a less talented roster than the Bulls.

Draymond Green
"That game plan was f---ing phenomenal today," Green said. "It don't get much better than that."

And you're confident Boylen would devise such great game plans? No, in fact they got blown out by 20+ by Houston at home last month.

Even with the Lakers bench scoring way out of the ordinary, they still couldn't beat the Clippers. I wouldn't be surprised if they trade for more firepower.

Boylen make a great game plan? He's been here a year and still cant figure out who plays what position best from his own roster.
