Nah shes been married for 58 years, shes not the hoe.....but she knows what a hoe looks like.

Apparently Ben does not.

BTW, I know you weren't calling my mom a hoe, but she does know what they look like.

With the all-star voting beginning, I suggest people don't vote for SImmons. He does not deserve to be an all-star this season with his offensive regression. If you guys want him to change, maybe this will spur him on. He always makes the excuse that even without the scoring he's an all-star.

I doubt the league takes any fake allstars from us this year, with us being just the 5th seed. If anyone comes with Joel, it's going to be Tobias. Simmons and Horford ain't getting fake honors this year.

Lol Simmons has become a top 5 defensive player in the NBA. His stats are great across the board and is 1 of only 3 players averaging over 14ppg, 7 rebs and 8 assists. He will make the all star team and even possibly start. He is also more deserving of making all star team than Tobias. Tobias is a terrible fit on this team however we are locked into TH contract.

His defense alone is not worthy of an all Star selection.

You think they're going to take the 4th leading scorer off a 5th seed? Simmons is listed as a backcourt player on the ballots so there are even less spots available for him to get in. No way he should or will be an allstar this year.

All of your emphasis is on scoring. That is only one part of the game. Defence is just as important. Besides that, Simmons is easily capable of scoring more however he is the distributor and that’s why Tobias and Richardson score more than him. It’s not because he isn’t capable of scoring more than them.

Because that's what great players do. Score the basketball.

Defense is not as important as scoring. That's like saying having a good OLB is as important as having a good QB.

How would Simmons play each game to satisfy you? Cut back on say 3 or 4 assists a game and instead take approximately 15 shots per game including at least 3 three pointers?

Sure.

He doesn't have to cutback on assists in order to raise his scoring. He has to cut back on the possessions where he does nothing but stand in the dunker's spot or dribble handoff and float. Be more aggressive. Look to score. That's why we took him #1. That's why we paid him a max contract.

He needs to be much more aggressive offensively, basically be Giannis lite to justify compromising the team's spacing offensively. He basically needs to be the teams second scorer, scoring 20+ ppg in an efficient way and creating shots for his teammates (which is different than just making the pass).

So basically making 3 extra shots per game

Within the next 2 seasons Simmons will add jump shots and 3 point shots to his game. It will come, it just is taking longer than fans would like. When he adds those 2 things he will be in mvp consideration. Obviously until he adds those 2 things, he will be an extremely frustrating player to watch. I think year 5 (not including first year he was injured and sat out) will be the year.

Sure. The only thing stopping Simmons from being a superstar is his failure to shoot jump shots and 3’s. once he starts shooting them he begins to live up to his potential. That’s all that’s stopping Simmons from greatness, just needs to start shooting the basketball. If he strung together 5 games where he was taking a few 3s and jump shots per game you all would have a completely different tune.

He's going backwards, though. FGAs down. Scoring down. Free throw percentage down. His coach is literally begging him, his family, and his agency to get him to shoot in pressers.

How many superstars needed to be begged to be great? None. They just are.

It’s more then just about shooting a basketball. He can shoot as many jumpers or 3s now but if the team doesn’t win then he won’t be any better. It’s about having the drive to get better as a player and leading your team as a leader. The only thing stopping Ben from being a superstar is Ben, he has no drive to get better. No one can make him shoot or improve as a player, he has to Want It.

The only year we’ve seen him play great basketball is the year he made the All Star team. After that dude just basically doesn’t care how the team does. He’s just out there for himself, which brings up his rookie year. He sat out the whole year so he can come back the next year to win rookie of the year and get more money from endorsements. Now he got the big contract he doesn’t care to improve.

Just a month or 2 ago, I wanted to keep him and get a new coach in to see what he can do with Ben. Since then I’ve watch him play and he doesn’t give it his all out there every game. Dude hides from moments the team needs him most. I’ve given up on him.

im actually cool with not voting for ben for the asg.

we want lebron lite not draymond lite. not just for the asg but for the sixers in general.

maybe it will light a fire up his ass
