Value is probably at an all time low. Has proven success alongside Ilyasova, who’s a friend and mentor to him. Think he’d thrive in Milwaukee competing for a championship, even in a smallish role for the remainder of this year. Would also allow Giannis to rest a ton down the stretch. Think we could get him for Brown, Wilson & a 2nd right now. Also be nice to clear a roster spot.
Not sure what to think here. Elite basketball mind idea, but for whatever reason Saric seems to get worse each year. I’m not sure he could defend in Bud’s system. Always thought he’d be really good, but I’ve sort of given up on him.
I think you look at him as a guy with talent in an extreme buy low situation. He definitely seems to get in his head & goes through shooting draughts, but he’s also had some relatively high highs at a young age (check his 2018 playoff numbers.) Seems like a dude who’s very situationally sensitive but when he’s bought in he really busts his ass. I’d trust the Bucks staff with him in a way I wouldn’t most in the league. People will want to make the comparison to Niko but they’re different players. Saric is a much better facilitator & a little tougher. Not nearly the instant long bomb gunner. Also insurance in case someone goes down.
