You can't make this **** up...lol
I've been told he'll turn it on in the Playoffs.
He was a traffic cone again on the permitter defensively not that anyone else playing the guard position was any better.... except maybe Bradley.
Green only had like one open look from 3 though and I think he hit it... The rest were highly contested, quick release shots, that weren't likely to hit anyway. The Celtics perimeter D was otherworldly tonight, or our guys were just off and tentative...
So I don't think he's really to blame on that end of the court. Sure, I think we all hoped he'd be carrying a lot more of the load, but he's been good and he was spectacular against the Rockets on D last game and is the only player we have that seems to be able to limit Kawhi... So I think you give him a pass...
On D... I dunno... the Celtics were just on fire tonight and the whole team looked like they were playing on fast forward compared to us... I don't think I saw any of our guys staying in front of them, other than maybe Bradly.
And maybe Green was a little beat from the Rockets game.
For the right player, I'd trade DG... But it'd have to be a 3 and D wing that fits next to LeBron and Davis... So I ask you, who better than Danny Green? If you asked people who the best 3 and D player in the league at the 2/3 was before the season, most would have Green on their list.
