So far (RM - LMA):
Points: about even (20,5k - 19,5k (and counting))
Playoffs points: LMA much better (449 - 1494)
Games: about even
Playoff games: LMA way more (23 - 72 (and counting) and being the best/second best player on his team)
Titles: Richmond wins (1 - 0), but he had very low impact on that one (2gms, 4 min, 1 pt playoffs in total)
All Stars: about even (6 - 7)
All League: even (6 - 6)
Win Shares: LMA again wins (79,3 + 1,2) - (111,3 + 5,5), as well as BPM and VORP.
So, LaMarcus Aldridge had (slightly) better career than Richmond and by The Mitch Richmond rule he should be in Hall of Fame.
I don't know if it's a factor but Richmond have a much "louder" game. Shooting Guard, Rookie of the Year, Dream Team III, averaged 22 ppg in his 1st 10 seasons.
Also repeating for the nth time, it's the basketball hall of fame not the NBA hall of fame. Richmond have an Olympic Bronze and Gold Medal in his resume.
