He's not a good enough shooter to do it yet, but he's not far off (especially considering how shooting starved we are from 3). Offensive sets can improve the shot chart and he can becoming more mentally prepared to hoist that many a game. I don't think it's something they can do on the fly in season, but it should be given renewed focus in the offseason.
And if shooting more 3s lets him expend less energy offensively and he can exert himself more on defense that's all the better.
Ya of course it's him, the best player, who has to sacrifice himself for the other lesser players. Meanwhile there are other players who are always in their confort zone and it's not that bad because "he will never be able to shoot", but on the other hand Embiid being a good volume shooter with 10, 10! 3pt shots per game is perfeeekt.
I tell you, sometimes I exaggerated a bit about the state of the modern NBA, but after reading so many comments about how it is desirable to see Embiid shoot 10 3pt shots per game, it is evident the game is RUINED and we have already gone past the point of no return. This product is TERRIBLE, encouraging players to shoot bad percentage shots in volume because of analytics and roster construction.
I think I will stop watching any more RS games, at least in playoffs there is more defense played and less coasting.
