But why in the world would Warriors take on Wiggins and his contract? They should of just went after Covington and a pick instead. Wow this makes no sense.
Awful trade for Minnesota. Trading for a no defense playing chucker to go with a disgruntled superstar who already has to be begged to try hard on defense. So he'll have his club buddy for another year and a half and when they still suck and don't make the playoffs he'll still want out.
So they are saying it's top 3 protected? Wolves are #5 right now in the tank race. The 4th - 6th pick has so much more value than MeAngelo Russel on that deal. This is an insane haul for GSW.
Think about this, they have a chance if the ping pong balls cooperate to have traded a one legged corpse of Kevin Durant for the #4 pick in the draft and the Wiggins project. PLUS by enacting the tank with MeAngelo leading the brigade have their own possibly #1 pick this year. Just insane how quickly they can reload.
Wiggins has the 3rd worst contract in the NBA and DAR is more valuable than anyone in this draft. Warriors got raped in this trade. They should have at least got one first rounder for Russell and another for taking on Wiggins.
DeAngelo Russell has the 4th worst contract. He plays worse defense than Wiggins.
