Currently still not cleared to play because of an ACL tear (about 6 weeks should be cleared ish). I could dunk a volleyball at one point idk now though

Anybody have any tips? Im just gonna do pylos and stuff and hopefully thatll work lol. It kinda counts for rehab too

Can't remember the exact timeframe, but my friend who's 5'11" trained for a few months and was able to do it. He was in his early 20s at the time. Wasn't coming off surgery tho lol...

And maybe not the smartest idea to try *because* you're coming off surgery? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

seems like a few years ago some 6 footish SI writer in his early 40's set out to dunk and wrote a whole piece on it? And I think maybe Mark Cuban tried something similar?

I know that in high school I devoted a ton of time and energy into it because I desperately wanted to dunk in a game. But I couldn't consistently palm a basketball and definitely couldn't do it off a drive and as exclusively a one foot leaper getting up there with two hands proved impossible for me. But I kept at it and at it. Could tip dunk but with the least authority imaginable. And I'm 6'3" with a long wingspan so you have to understand I was a terrible athlete.

I wish UniBro luck in this endeavor. At this point it's been a decade or more since I as much as touched the rim.

I've completed what is essentially a 2000 level (sophomore of college) level spanish, but don't actually remember much of the vocabulary. I still remember basic conjugation rules and how spanish grammar works though, if that make sense.

What parts do you want to improve at the moment?

Most important thing is putting in amount of time to study Spanish every day. 20 minutes, 30 minutes, 60 minutes per day etc.

I don't know how to answer this. I just want to be able to have a decent conversation with someone. And I can only devote 20 minutes a day to Spanish a day. But I'm hoping that if I consistently am studying 20 minutes every single day, I'll get better.

That 20 minutes is excluding the stuff you would study for your college class?

You should look into finding a conversation partner. You can use the app HelloTalk which is free to find one - or use Italki which also has the option of paying for a tutor to talk to you - or you can find a language exchange in a facebook group. You're in university so there should be some type of program that helps foreign students out, so you can meet people there to practice (or join a Spanish/Latin culture club and just speak crappy spanish when you're hanging out with them).

20 minutes a day will make a difference. Best way to improve conversing is probably to converse, but if you can't - I would just make flash cards that have common sentences/phrases and drill them. It's better to drill full sentences than single words.

Im 6ft so my reach us somewhere at 7ft10 to 8ft, since i have them small asian hands i need to get a prolly a foot higher than the rim to dunk (i used to be able to get my wrist to it and was consistentlt like a few inches away, i could dunk a volleyball though)

My genetics are odd. I suck in terms of trying to get stronger and the acl tear has pretty much crushed any hopes and dreams of trying to increase my squat (and it sucks right now anyway lol). I was really uncordinated and not athletic at all till like 10th grade where i did a pylo program (altho in hindsight it wasnt all that good, i peaked at week 4) and got my vert from 20 inches to like 28 inches, and over just started to play basketball it peaked at around 32-33. But my completely lack of ability to build strength even pre injury didnt help when i tried to start lifting weights, altho tbf i wasnt very good at being consistent or with my diet. I never did get coordinated at all though and my running two foot jump is pretty bad compared to it standing which I think is a genetic thing more so than actual vert.

Im kinda banking on pylos maybe bringing my spring back and that i have some tightness or something that can be fixed and help it skyrocket, and in hoping my body responds like it did when i first started

Right now im 5 days in (morning of the fifth day) and Im not really sure where im at because i havent tested out my max, but my two foot vert def seems like its gone up a bit but not by much. The main improvement seems like its just way more effortless to jump but idk if my max got that much better. My inability to get stronger and tbh being asian lmao makes me feel that I might be screwed tho.

Either way the only way im gonna end up dunking will probably be off of one foot and im gonna test that out today lol.

Prolly not the best idea to expect results in 5 days lol. Also fun fact if you overexaggerate your strides for an hour or two your temporarily vert goes up 4-5 inches for a day the next day, altho in my experience while it did work i also tore my acl then lol so don’t try it

Does anyone know of a source for PI RAPM for '19 (preferably a rs + ps combined) that is NOT gitlab (I don't really trust that source). If so, please provide link. Thanks.....

EDIT: I already know of this source, which is rs-only, and I'm pretty sure NPI (just based on the number of "noisy" results).

Possible alternate, similar results at a glance, can't quickly tell if whether it's any closer to what you want, or vouch for it (though similarity to others perhaps good in that sense).

Random question - anyone know the best/simplest way of putting audio (.aac) and video (.mp4) back together?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Are you asking how to sync audio back to video? Because you should be able to do that with most nonlinear video editors. Just take the video, and match up the .aac audio in an underlying audio bed.

If anyone reads comics DiDio got fired over at DC. They are completely lost. First they let DiDio ruin every sidekick worth mentioning to big up new ones and now he's out while he was in the middle of rebooting the universe.

Yeah AJ would get demolished. He ran Ruiz the 2nd time but anyone that would show up to a fight as unprepared as he was in the first Ruiz fight is getting crushed by someone like Fury. Fury can eat off any small mistake someone makes.

Wilder was never in Fury's class - he should have lost the first fight. But boy, he really, really got it this one. It's interesting that Wilder was the favorite.

I'm interested in seeing Joshua vs Wilder actually.

ESPN is cancelling High Noon which is especially bad news for me and PockyCandy because if you couldn't tell by now I'm Bomani Jones and he's Pablo Torres.

On a more serious note I saw this coming the second that clip of Bomani talking about the NFL owners skipping over Eric Bieniemy went viral. No doubt about it that pissed off NFL owners.

Not sure if I buy that conspiracy theory. I'm not sure why that clip would've pissed off NFL owners any more than Bomani's remarks about their treatment of Colin Kapernick, for instance.

Because owners can easily ignore the Kaep issue and one man suing them isn't an issue. The black coach issue almost got them in a major lawsuit already and that's the only reason they have the Rooney Rule in the first place. Basically they fear coaches way more than players when it comes to workplace issues.
