@Wingo...you think Beltran wish he had this technology when he batted against Wainwright?

This is why Rob Womanfred pussed out when he doled out the "harsh" punishment. Now you got the guy that set the whole arrogant personality of the Astros (Crane) thumping his chest cause he can't be punished again for all the cheating that he'd have to be an absolute moron (and he's obviously not or he'd not be owning a MLB team) to not know they were cheating. Jim Crane is one of the most hands own owners in baseball and he's in their with his players in spring training, during games, post games, etc. So the notion that a self made billionaire who considers himself one of the boys had no clue that his team was cheating is PREPOSTEROUS. And Womanfred let him get off with just a slap on his wrist cause he was chicken **** to go against the Owners and the Players Union. Womanfred basically sacrificed the most expendable guys to try to sweep this under the rug (Cora, Beltran, Lunhow and Hinch). The guys who did the dirty deed and the ultimate guy at the top got away scott free. There's no reason why guys that are doing steroids should be suspended or banned for cheating and the Astros players didn't get suspended or banned for cheating. Hypocrisy at it's finest. They might as well let Rose back and remove all the * next to the names of all the steroid cheats.

Womanfred is he James Dolan of all commissioners a commissioner like Goodell might be a real ahole but he does protect his league (protecting the shield). What message does this send to not even hand out suspensions or fines, this has been in the know for a couple of years until Fiers talked about it in the public eye (snitch or not but facts are facts), or Jomboys twitter account. Now he has told MLB players to keep it hush hush F that they all should speak out, ya maybe players suspensions and fines get over turned, but at least you are sending a message to protect your own sport and give yourself a good name in the public eye.

None of the interviews surprised me in the least, funny how they chose not to speak first day of spring training, guess they had their PR guys try to get their stories together, and Crane handled it the worst throwing guys under the bus. Its gonna be very interesting, to see how this gets handled not just this year but the next 10 years or so your gonna be having players sue the Astros and the MLB, even some former Astros like the 4 you mentioned. Someone is gonna come out with a tell all book, so much **** will be coming out. would be very interesting to see a 30 for 30 on this. Best thing the Yankees can do is just beat these a-holes and win it all.

This whole Astros scandal thing has been so satisfying to watch after those *ssholes stole Game 6 from us and 2017.

Looking forward to seeing the entire league of pitchers bean all their batters. Hopefully the league doesn't intervene and puts out warnings before each game, which is most likely unfortunately.

What's also interesting is that yesterday's sheer and utter bafoonary and arrogance spewing from Jim Crane's pie hole apparently is adding fuel for a 'media driven' investigation into trying to independently prove that the buzzers were real and that the Astro's absolutely did cheat in 2019 including the playoffs. Crane's nonsense has apparently sparked so much outrage that multiple parties have called for almost a 'bounty' on Crane and the Astro's heads among the investigative journalism elite to dig harder into the degree of cheating. I can tell you right now, whomever finds out that the buzzers were real and the Astros were cheating all the way through the 2019 playoffs will become a god in the eyes of many. So I don't think by any means is any of this over and if anything it's just going to get worse for the Astros. A LOT of people are also now calling for Womanfred's head as well for what many believe to blatantly trying to sweep this under the rug and protect both the owners and the players union.

In weird Yankees news, Brett Gardner has an obsessive fan the Yankees want banned from all ballparks:
In a strange and often incomprehensible lawsuit, which the Yankees have asked a Bronx civil court judge to dismiss, Devasahayam says the Yankees not only are preventing her from getting close to Gardner, but she also alleges they have hacked into her Twitter account to steal her intellectual property.

Detailed in the lawsuit are some of the ways she says Gardner has hinted at his interest in her:

In a video of Gardner in the dugout, Gardner “motions with his hip on the stairs as though he is having sexual intercourse with me.
”She says Gardner makes “a sad face” during home games when she does not attend. She adds that Gardner was once ejected from a game by an umpire who likely received “signals” from her social media that she was angry with the outfielder.
After “3 years of romancing online,” she said she started attending games “because I see that Brett desires this.”

She needs some help before she does something stupid or worse, dangerous.

Sounds like a whack job, she is the one who wants Gardner and is trying to convince herself of what she wants to hear.

Severino will be getting Tommy John surgery any day now.

Wish this wasn't true, but just feels like it will be so. Forearm? That's where TJ surgery happens later, right?

Severino got paid and all of a sudden his body is breaking down.

Funny how that happens...

Better hope Severino and Happ can stay healthy.

We won 103 without Severino or Cole last year, think we'll be alright.

UCL = Tommy John. So yeah signs would indicate that it's a possibility.

Time for the Yankees to look into trading for this man. Would fit since he despises the Astros.

Will likely cost Garcia, Florial and two of their other top pitching prospects (Gil, Abreu and Schmidt are their top 3 after Garcia). I would do it.

Clevinger is an ace. He's still under team control for 3 more years. You put him next to Gerrit Cole and you won't have to worry about high end starting pitching for at least the next half decade. So the top pitching prospects they have less of a retention concern (the Yankees also are quite stocked with flame throwing toolsy pitching prospects throughout their minor league system (especially the lower minors). You'll have another many years to build back up the pitching death in the minors. Honestly the only prospect that should be off limits for a guy like Clevinger is Jasson Dominguez.

Gerrit Cole and Mike Clevinger would be like Superman and Batman. Fire and Ice.

Well ****

Do you think this team still has a good enough rotation to win a title?
