Whoa not THE Hubert Samwell???

Isn’t this the same guy who said Kuzma would be a Knick by 7pm?
Bobby Webster would be a very good get. The real power behind Ujiri.

Problem is, based on the source we’d have a better chance of hiring Samwell Tally

The free agent class this 2020 off season sucks so we should wait until 2021 free agency! Just had to let this out.

I'd be good with this for sure. Just get someone other the Perry who just sits on his hands during free agency and drafts and doesn't know how to get creative by moving up or down in drafts or knowing how to take on a bad contract in free agency to get a draft pick for doing it when the whole Knicks world knows you team is in a rebuild. He just sat back and watched the Hawks and Suns keep doing it and now each of them are loaded with good young talent.

cp3, melo, and taj as vets is not a bad look. sure, it sounds like it's 10 years late because it actually would've been a pretty good team back then, but i legitimately don't mind having those dudes be the 3 veteran leaders of an otherwise young knicks squad. way way better than payton, portis, and randle. remember what a few months of even someone like deandre jordan was like?

cp3 is still legit playing all-star basketball. the other 2 no. but trading for him would put the knicks out of the 2021 free agent race. it would be fascinating to see if they would actually do that. and also if okc would even want compensation. i would rather just tank for a couple more years but i think that's out now. i understand rose's thinking if he does this. we're not attracting anyone in 2021, it's too soon, so why not make the team good first and put off free agency til 2022.

if the trade sends out randle, and if melo comes on a friendly deal, we're in a similar place financially after portis, payton, ellington, etc expire. the key is still, of course, to draft intelligently in the next 2 years

if you really striped it down i guess. all those rookie deals add up. 2 1sts this year. another 2 next year with the dallas pick. you'd have to let trier, dot, frank and dennis go probably. you'd have rj, mitch, knox and the cost of those 4 picks as players. the money owed to noah as part of the stretch provision. also depends where those picks land as that changes the cost.

And who’s our (gulp) Kelenic going out?

under no circumstances should soon to be 35 year old Chris Paul making over $40 mm over the next two years be considered an option. I don't give a flying sh*t if he was a previous Leon Rose client. This move alone would show he has no clue how to build a roster.

I hope the report is just due diligence but I have a sneaky feeling he will have strong connections with his former clients because that is how agents role...loyalty to almost a fault.

There is absolutely no way you can attempt to defend this...and I have to believe Isola has some inside info (he's been nice to Leon since he came here) has a relationship with him and probably wants to be a guy he trusts to give him scoops. So I am worried...very worried.

Classic Knicks move.

Just add Kevin Love to seal the deal.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.
