Spike Lee will be on First Take this morning to discuss incident last night

Ok just need to chime in as an NBA FAN as this entire incident is making me so upset.

So it is SO CLEAR that James Dolan is a moron. Everything he does turns to ashes. I'm still upset that he fired Glen Glunwald who led the Knicks to their first 50 game season in a while, the Oakley incident, now disrespecting your #1 fan who has paid over $10million in season tickets despite a horrible on court product. We must understand that type of incidents DO NOT OCCUR in any well ran organization PERIOD. It HURTS ME SO **** BAD, to witness this moron James Dolan destroy the franchise I would root for before Toronto ever had a team.

My question is - Why do so many people still support this fool? That is the part I never understood! EVERYTHING HE DOES is pathetic. I've seen so many videos of him and how he treats fans who pay hard earned dollars, he is a disrespectful, unwise business person and his shadow from the top is destroying everything below. Yet despite all this, I don't see a collective outrage from New York.

He is without a shadow of a doubt the WORST OWNER IN SPORTS HISTORY and is destroying the NBA by alienating our most beloved Market and the CORNERSTONE CITY FOR all basketball history. I pray for the day when the Raptors face the Knicks, and Rowdy Knick fans would invade the ACC.

PLEASE - PLEASE - PLEASE - for the love of god - stop sugar coating this FOOL and start taking a damn stand against him and everything he stands for. He is a cancer to the NBA and I really hope Adam Silver comes in and gets rid of him, so the KNICKS can finally be FREE, and your amazing city and fanbase can get a team that GOES TO THE PLAYOFFS and competes at a high level as it deserves.

Dolan needs to be let go . He’s not a owner who just writes the checks. He’s a terrible human being . The way he conducts himself and the way he talks is not how a human being should be. Plus the porzingis trade was so bad, we barely got any assets out of it . If spike lee is not watching anymore games , why should we still watch! This team can’t shoot , can’t shoot FREE throws . Yeah the Wilpons and the Johnson family are arguably just as bad if not worse and they are in the same town. But I get the frustration level, this is groundhogs day. People don't like seeing rich billionaires continuing to bully people around just because they can. At least Spike has created and paid tribute to works of art which shine a light on cultural issues at different times. You may like his works, not like them, like some of them. Whatever, but at least he's done something. Plus, like us, he's a loyal Knicks' fan to a fault. Fck Dolan. Anyone supporting him should have their head examined.

I have a big problem with Spike Lee going on that garbage program on ESPN that's already very anti-Knick and unload in the manner he did. If you have a problem with the Garden, bring it up directly with the head members of the organization.

What exactly did Spike gain to benefit from going on First Take yesterday? He looks like a parasite for airing dirty laundy like that; if he feels like he was mistreated because security told him he needed to be escorted through a different set of doors, bring it up quietly to Dolan or someone on his staff. There was no reason for him to bring this thing to the forefront of the sports pages. It was supposed to be Leon Roses' day and Spike decided to go on First Take and play the role of a multimillionaire martyr. Sorry if I don't shed any tears for someone like him.

Dolan could've easily diffused this situation. Just swallow your pride, explain to Spike the new rules being promulgated in the arena, apologize again for any misunderstanding, and leave it at that. He definitely didn't need to respond yesterday in the manner that he did through the Knicks' PR; him staying silent would've been a much more professional route to take. But if I was in his shoes, I'd be angry also. If he really did diffuse the situation with Spike considering (as the photo potentially shows,) than it makes no reason for Lee to go on First Take and just trash the organization.

But than again this is the same opportunistic parasite that was making Mars Blackmon commercials with the #1 enemy of the Knicks in the early 90's Mr Michael Jordan. So I never really looked at Spike as some defacto representative of this team. He's just some guy that's been rich for over half his life and wants everyone- including ESPN- to know how inconvenient this isolated episode was for him. Poor Spike.
