Say no to the vaccines!

BIG FACTS

Nah, both of yall need to do better than this.

The Measles, Mumps, and Rubella are exactly why you should say yes to vaccines. Now is not the time to spread pseudoscience and conspiracy theories. Your life expectancy is a testament to how vaccines have worked for humans. Stick to the facts and science, conspiracy theories never amount to anything.

I'm far from an expert but I believe with the flu vaccine they have to shoot some of wha it in you. I'd rather get the flu.

With this coroona no one wants it and I'll take my chances rather than a vaccine.

Yea and from my understanding ppl are dying from the flu at a higher rate than corona, even though its still new. Not saying it's not serious, it's just something else to think about. We will know more in the next few weeks. Alot of ppl are not showing any sickness or symptoms.

I haven't got my flu shots in years because it certainly does give u the flu. Every time i got the shot, i got sick within 2 weeks and I HATE having the flu. Only had the flu once since not taking the shots like almost 10 years ago.

Today I went to shop rite and spent 325. We have 5 people in the house. That should last us for a while. I think I am going to order from here on and have it delivered. We are staying put, just some walks in a nearby park.

What VC said about catching it airborne....if thats the case, my feeling is this is going to last a long long time.

Good luck to everyone

I'm stocked up pretty well and for now the food places around here are doing takeout and drive thru so it's all good. liquor stores are still open til 8pm est. I expect things to change though once a confirmed case is discovered in my city so on friday i'll be probably buying at least 350+ of food, water, liquor, and hygiene supplies.

We stocked up starting 2 weeks ago well before the panic hit, though I was there first hand when I realized how bad the public is freaking out and what I knew was ringing true, even if it isn't that bad just the reaction from the public was/is going to mean stores are empty on the regular.

I'm not one that normally loses my **** over these things, but am cautious and informed as possible, but this one man? Yeah, I'm shook.

People are taking this entirely too lightly. **** is about to get realer than real overall for the next year or two overall, even if they can contain the actual virus.

Prayers up man, and make sure you protect yourself and your day ones, but until/unless it goes Mad Max, lend a helping hand to whoever you can without taking full on eternal risk.

Although I don't agree with your last thought, I do agree with the rest. This anti-vaxxer **** is for the birds.

Vaccines very well may lend themselves to stuff like autism, etc., but they do a wealth of good compared to throwing a tinfoil hat on as an infectious disease condom.

A Covid 19 vaccine will not inject you with any of the virus in all likelihood.

This is not the flu. The general public is in for a rude awakening. I'll give you some crude math in a few, but percentages are misleading when you think in the terms of dividing or multiplying by 100...

Listen man, there's a good chance people in power will see this as an opportunity to enact some shady ****, but that is not an indication that this is some false flag bull crap.

This **** is ultra real. Millions will die, that is the likely case. The economy will semi-crash, that is the likelihood. Life is not going to be the same for a long time, that is a given.

I'll just say it like this:

Say 3% of the country gets infected.

Then say 2% of those cases are fatal.

199,000 people wind up dying in the US alone.

In a probably 3 to 6 month period.

Wildly optimistic math. Scary **** man.

And yes, the economy itself will bounce back, it always does, it's inevitable. But what damage is done to the check to checkers before it does? How bout the people who just made large, but average purchases? How about those who live above their means? How bout people who just decided to retire 3 or 4 months ago before this was a thing? What happens to restaurant workers? And once thriving small businesses which in times like these were total luxuries? People in sports who weren't the players and upper crust payscale wise? Small contractors who did mainly passable stuff like kitchen remodels and backyard and basement makeovers?

We'll see. Those people and services will be needed again. In a couple years when the economy actually does bounce back. Wtf do they do in the interim though? Does our government step in and allow them to survive? Or just watches them become homeless and the natural progression of things cause they could truly give a **** about us the little guy?

Strange days man.

Stars have much less contact with people period. They live VIP life.

That really isnt the situation. and what is worse is they arent just capable of spreading it within their community. if they are infected they are spreading it to many cities and many communities.

Let me walk you through the average NBA 3 to 5 game road trip.

-Team gathers at facilitiy. Team meets with trainers, PR, marketing, and travel assistants
-Team is transported to the airport. they typically have direct access to their charter flight. they come across their own VIP bag handlers, flight attendants and pilots
-Team arrives at airport of new city, they transport to the hotels where they are met by VIP concierge and managers.
-they then go to the road practice facility. typically small college training centers. they meet with trainers and coaches and then have a mandtory meeting with local and national media
-Game day they will interact with media, fans, players, coaches and trainers from the other team
-after the game more media
-after post game some go back to the hotel, some go to dinner, some go to the club, some visit local friends/jump offs
-after that they either have a charter bus if the next city is close or back to the airport...

So if your counting at home thats:

-Dozens of local trainers and traveling trainers and trainers at facilities they use on the road
-Coaches, PR reps, marketing reps
-Flight staff, bag handlers, attendants for local flights and then flights from there to other cities
-tons of media, some fans, other teams players
-Hotel staff
-if they go to dinner other restaraunt patrons and staff
-if they go to the club its every mofo and chick in sight and maybe multiple clubs

multiply that by 3,4,5,6 cities per week and they are potentially being infected by tons of people and worse spreading it through the US.

Just because you don't understand how vaccines work doesn't mean you have to be scared of it. We are at least a year away from a vaccine anyway. We are trying anti-viral drugs to treat people with bad cases of COV19 for right now.

Also it's not really about you getting it but more about stopping the spread, so it does not infect the population of people who are susceptible to the virus. Even if we have a <5% death rate, that's still millions of lives....

This is on the heels of the GOP, in a clear lack of foresight, ramming tax cuts for the rich through and ballooning the national deficit. The market is crashing so fast I'm not even bothering to look at my 401k.

Enhanced unemployment benefits, Universal Basic Income and theexpansion of medicare are the only options here to keep Americans afloat until things can return to normal, and lord knows when that will be because the check is going to come due for what Trump did by failing to secure testing and dismantling the epidemic response team, we probably have thousands of people running around right now carrying the virus and they don't even know.

I don't see Trump's presidency surviving this as things worsen. If Joe Biden gets elected, he may not like it, but he's going to have to go FDR style to get this country going again.

Trump is irrelevant in all of this. He is a buffoon. There are literally scientists across multiple countries who are hard at work trying to find a way to kill this virus. People are dying and you're sitting here thinking that this is a joke.

Scientists across the globe are focused on breaking down enzymes, patterns, and god knows what else when it comes to this virus. They aren't trying to put a microchip into you, you aren't that special.

Trump is the reason most people can't get tested bc the buffoon doesn't belong in office. When he took over for Obama he got rid of everything he brought to the table for a crisis like this just bc he was a different party and of course because a black man was in office. All right I'll get off my high horse now..

Although I don't agree with your last thought, I do agree with the rest. This anti-vaxxer **** is for the birds.

Vaccines very well may lend themselves to stuff like autism, etc., but they do a wealth of good compared to throwing a tinfoil hat on as an infectious disease condom.

the reason I made that remark about conspiracy theories is because when I was around papi and kamaze's ages (i'm assuming that they are younger than me since i'm an 80s baby), I used to believe in stuff like this too but the older I get the more I realize that everything should be taken with a grain of salt.

yea u may be right, I use to always have my tin foil hat on but I do take things with a grain of salt now that I'm older. Some of it is dead on and some of it is total BS. But, you also have to take some of this fake news with a grain of salt as well. The gov't and media lies to us daily. Yes be cautious, but don't believe every little thing they try to feed u. "Believe none of what u hear and half of what u see".

The gov't and media lied to us about 9/11 so we can invade Iraq and also add more surveillance in our country. Look where we are at now, they are spying on us and everyway they can. We been hearing about this "chip" or "mark of the beast" if u will, for some years now. I just feel there is something bigger going on behind the scenes.

As far as the vaccines go, yes the measles , chicken pox , mumps and other vaccines are a necessity. The flu shot also, but I dont think we need to get a flu vaccine every year. Our immune system should be built up at this point unless your 50 plus. The survival rate and percentage for this corona is high. I believe the flu has a higher rate than corona.
