They are in 4-6 cities per week at times. traveling through airports. working with media, medical staff...
the average american doesnt travel to half the US every month.
Stars have much less contact with people period. They live VIP life.
That really isnt the situation. and what is worse is they arent just capable of spreading it within their community. if they are infected they are spreading it to many cities and many communities.
Let me walk you through the average NBA 3 to 5 game road trip.
-Team gathers at facilitiy. Team meets with trainers, PR, marketing, and travel assistants
-Team is transported to the airport. they typically have direct access to their charter flight. they come across their own VIP bag handlers, flight attendants and pilots
-Team arrives at airport of new city, they transport to the hotels where they are met by VIP concierge and managers.
-they then go to the road practice facility. typically small college training centers. they meet with trainers and coaches and then have a mandtory meeting with local and national media
-Game day they will interact with media, fans, players, coaches and trainers from the other team
-after the game more media
-after post game some go back to the hotel, some go to dinner, some go to the club, some visit local friends/jump offs
-after that they either have a charter bus if the next city is close or back to the airport...
So if your counting at home thats:
-Dozens of local trainers and traveling trainers and trainers at facilities they use on the road
-Coaches, PR reps, marketing reps
-Flight staff, bag handlers, attendants for local flights and then flights from there to other cities
-tons of media, some fans, other teams players
-Hotel staff
-if they go to dinner other restaraunt patrons and staff
-if they go to the club its every mofo and chick in sight and maybe multiple clubs
multiply that by 3,4,5,6 cities per week and they are potentially being infected by tons of people and worse spreading it through the US.
