Bump a gentle nudge like
shoulder check hey how you doing.
Hows life itself a treating you
in these days of future ruin
long foretold but only half imagined
lets draw a frothy draft
grab a stool : whaddaya havin ?
Sipping on a cider, staring at the screen
tell me bout some things I won't believe you ever seen.
get it out and let it out
never
go it alone
cause nothings ever sadder
than a poet alone
drop a word.
hear.

Aaron Archer. Powerful name. Both pornstar-esque and film noir-ish.

Hey -- is there "watching/streaming" thread? If so, I can't find it -- anyone who is able to, please bump or link it......
Breaking News: In a shocking development, Wizards owner Ted Leonsis has sold the NBA franchise to a consortium of participants in a discussion board devoted to the team on realgm.com. Details to follow....

One of the PI's in Maltese Falcon is Miles Archer, always got a kick out of that. I'll need to do more "research" to see if there are any in the other genre.

Also, Ross McDonald had PI Lew Archer, I guess quoting the Maltese Falcon. Philip K. Dick wrote The Transmigration of Timothy Archer. Must be some more. I know there's a poet with the last name Archer. Oh wait, that's you.
Re porn stars, there's gotta be a Richard Archer. Confirmation and additional names? AFM?

dorianwrite wrote:Let me be more specific about how Westbrook stinks:
He is not good when on the floor --
He never stops trying to score
Except when tossing an errant pass.
On defense, he looks entirely gassed.
A 3-ball to Westbrook's far too tempting,
His teammates' better shots preempting.
The ball is dribbled off his knee,
Now watch him shout at the referee.
I'm not sure when he lost his lift,
But now his game is mostly ****.

There once was a guy named Leonsis
Who invited his critics to sit in their own pxss
At first ‘twas charming, but we grew tired of his shtick
‘Cause he was little more than an egotistical prxck
And soon enough we all came to our senses

After Pollin it seemed change was essential,
Here's Teddy: Surely that's consequential?
Nope! add 10 years of Grunfeld
(Hell at least we LIKED Unseld...)
Abe save us, from this Terd Monumental.

Brooks getting extended
Is leaving me winded
And gasping air
As all Wizards fans pull out their hair
In utter and complete despair
At the travesty that's been laid bare

And gasping air

In utter and complete despair
At the travesty that's been laid bare

There once was a guy named Leonsis,
not as fan friendly as he once was.
His double bottom line
was at America Online.
Since then his actions disgust us.

There once was a guy named Leonsis
Who took total leave of his senses:
In spite of all the bad looks
He re-hired Scott Brooks
Thus clearly defining what "dense" is.
