Atlanta likely isn't going to be looking to draft a backup PG with their top pick so they are one team that I can see trading down if they fail to land Edwards. Doubt they have interest in Wiseman because of Collins and Capela. Backup PG and wing depth is their likely goal.
Golden State will probably look at Wiseman as their main target. If they don't land him they can look to fill any backup position including backup PG so they can take anybody.
Cavs are very likely to go after either a wing or stretch 4 so they will have some options there. Very doubtful they take a PG.
Detroit can look to fill many positions so it's hard to predict where they go but if I was to guess I would say PG is their main priority.
Chicago is very likely to target a PG
Charlotte is very likely to target a big or a 2 guard
Washington is very likely to target a PG
Phoenix could go in different directions but likely a stretch 4
This draft could see a lot of teams moving up or down via trades
I'm gonna take a whack at this team needs thing:
Atlanta: Trae Young has a crazy high usage. He's top 5 in the league! Secondary creator to take some pressure off of him is a must. I'm guessing they'd lean Edwards, Avdija, and maybe even Haliburton.
Warriors: It's pretty obviously they want a big. Draymond is washed and the line up of death is over. My guess: Wiseman, Okongwu.
Cavs: I'm with you, they're definitely not a risk to take a PG. It kinda depends if they see Drummond as a long term piece or not. They definitely gave up nothing to get him so it could be either way. My guess: Edwards, Okoro, Avdija, Toppin
Detroit: I'm jealous that they made it to 5th with it's 40/60 chance to move up and like 0% to stay at 5. They're in full on rebuild mode but I'm with you I think they'll lean guard. They really need to go with the guy with the highest upside. Let's just hope they don't take LaMelo or Hayes right in front of us. My guess: Edwards, LaMelo, and Hayes.
Chicago: They did just draft Coby White and Zach Levine does a lot of ball handling too. How much different is Hayes/ Cole from Coby White? I bet they'd a landing spot for one of the bigs, since Carter has been pretty injury prone. My guess: Haliburton or okongwu
Charlotte: Gotta say this is the toughest team to pick for. Do they have a single guy on the team that you'd consider apart of their core? They seem like a team full of role players. They're biggest positional need is a big but they really need a star. I could see them taking a shot at someone like RJ Hampton or Maxey. My guess: Okongwu or RJ Hampton
Washington: Wall is coming back and there's no way he's getting traded at 50 million dollars a year. I don't see how you could banish him with that price tag and develop another PG properly. My guess: Issac Okoro
Phoenix: Ricky Rubio replacement would be my guess. They did just make that Saric trade and there's probably not going to be a stretch big in that late lottery area. It's possible Toppin would be there. My guess: Haliburton, Cole, Hayes.
