A malaria drug widely touted by President Donald Trump for treating the new coronavirus showed no benefit in a large analysis of its use in U.S. veterans hospitals. There were more deaths among those given hydroxychloroquine versus standard care, researchers reported.
Researchers did not track side effects, but noted a hint that hydroxychloroquine might have damaged other organs. The drug has long been known to have potentially serious side effects, including altering the heartbeat in a way that could lead to sudden death.
He criticized lockdown measures before getting covid-19. As strangers vilified him, his family canceled the live stream of his funeral.
Like many families who have lost someone during the novel coronavirus pandemic, the McDaniel family initially planned to live-stream the funeral for the Ohio father, John W. McDaniel, 60, who died on April 15 after testing positive for the virus.
But his wife, Lisa McDaniel, told friends and family in a letter published by the Snyder Funeral Home in Marion, Ohio, that his Wednesday funeral would instead be privately recorded after her family endured a deluge of angry and even mocking messages from strangers upset that he had described the coronavirus outbreak as a “political ploy.”
“During this time of mourning, John’s story, along with early assumptions that he stated on Twitter and Facebook have turned into national news,” Lisa McDaniel wrote. “This news has opened the flood gates for people to share their own misguided anger and unfounded assumptions about a man they don’t know.”
The story of John McDaniel’s death went viral after his obituary was first published in the Marion Star on April 16. People shared the news with harsh criticism, in some cases essentially blaming him for his own death, for comments he allegedly made on social media before he got sick, but his family says those strangers don’t know the full story.

Just goes to show you how dangerous the lack of leadership and the games the Trump administration has played with the public truly are.

Apparently there is "something to lose" by trying it.

Apparently there is "something to lose" by thinking that this POTUS is anything but a serial liar.

Polling so far is consistent. Biden has a lead in the 3 states that Trump barely won to win the electoral college in 2016 (by a total of 78,000 votes). WI being within the margin of error in the average of all these polls.
Biden is in contention in NC, FL, and has consistently been leading in AZ.
And yes, Hillary lead state polls in WI, MI, and PA...but her negatives were much higher than Biden's on favorability.

I’m surprised that Biden is leading Wisconsin. The other 3 states don’t surprise me but that came as a shock.

No it’s going to be Hunter Biden, Migrant Caravans (remember those? Lol) again. Trump is not subtle or calculating at all. If there was anything to investigate Joe Biden about he would already floated in the right wing media. Just like those idiots screamed Clinton Foundation, Benghazi over and over again Hunter Biden is the new talking point.

Isn't Biden literally being accused of sexual assault? Seems like there are plenty of things Trump could drum up when push comes to shove. None of it even has to be true, but if there is any thread of truth to it, that's a nice bonus for Trump!
I do think this election is a lot different for Trump than 2018 because it's do or die for him. There is no scenario in which he quietly leaves office when he will be facing extreme legal exposure that the office shields him from. He is not too stupid to see this.
I've always found it extremely troubling how recklessly corrupt Trump and Kushner are. Not because of the corruption on its face but because I don't see a plausible end game here that makes any sense other than Trump staying in office for life. Any Democrat administration can easily investigate and prosecute a bottomless well of Trump's crimes and he surely understands that.
There's not much point in doing all of these personal enrichment crimes unless you can keep the money.

Trump likely has constitutional expert Rudy Giuliani looking into a president's ability to preemptively pardon himself such that he gets to keep all the loot and cannot be investigated. Alternatively, Trump could resign Jan 19, 2021 (Operation Cut and Run), and Pence could pardon him. Keep an eye on Fox, watch for Jeanine Pirro to float these ideas as perfectly reasonable.

Or just knock off Ginsburg and Kagan and replace them with Kushner and the a4metioned constitutional expert. What election? He could make himself king.
