Nick Bosa certainly surpassed my expectations, but I did say I thought he'd be better than Joey.
Again, I don't think Aiyuk will be a bad or even average WR. I think he'll be good. But I'm still probably gonna be pissed about the players who went after him.
Yeah, it's Deebo all over again. Sure, Samuel is a nice player. But we could have taken him 15 picks later, or ended up with a very similar, but arguably better, guy in Brown. Except this time we traded up. And we didn't have to. I get the concern about the Packers taking him, but they weren't going to (I would be extremely surprised if any team would pass on what they deem a first round QB for any WR). I can't see the Hawks taking him with Lockett and Metcalf on the roster. The Ravens were relatively unlikely to go WR. WR is way down on the Titans' list of needs. And WR might be Miami's best position - granted that isn't saying much. In all likelihood he was going to fall, just as, in all likelihood, Samuel would have been there if we had traded back.
People are critical of the Packers.
If ARod plays at least 3 more seasons, , they're going to probably have to move Love rather than give him a 5th year option. Or settle for 2 years of his rookie contract at most.
Unless that young coach is ready to dump Rodgers in a year or two, because Rodgers doesn't play within the system any more.
