The packers were significantly better offensively. They spread the ball around, and allowed their backs to make plays out of the backfield. Jones had 49 catches last year, and 22 came during that 4 game stretch.
Simply put, Rodgers had Davante vision last year, and it made our offense predictable at times. And I am sure that is more Rodgers fault than MLF.
Rodgers needs to realize he just isn't the same qb he was 3 years ago.

I'm certain there were multiple factors as to why we looked so good over that stretch, could be strength of schedule, could be injuries, but I agree overall, there was something different about this team over that stretch, it was very un-McCarthy era like on offense.
Adams was out weeks 5,6,7,8..so when I look up the results over that stretch;
Week 5 Dallas
Rodgers 22/34 238 yards, 0 TD, 0 INT, 2 sacks
Aaron Jones 19 for 107, 7 catches 75 yards, 4 TD
High Targets for WR/TE Geronimo 6 targets
Week 6 Detroit
Rodgers 24/39 283 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT, 1 sacks
Aaron Jones 11 for 47, 4 catches 13 yards, 0 TD
Jamal Williams 14 for 104, 4 catches 32 yards 1TD
High Targets for WR/TE Geronimo 7 targets
Week 7 Oakland
Rodgers 25/31 429 yards, 5 TD, 0 INT, 1 sacks, rush TD
Aaron Jones 12 for 50, 4 catches 33 yards, 1TD
Jamal Williams 3 for 5, 4 catches 26 yards 1TD
High Targets for WR/TE Geronimo 5 targets
Week 8 KC
Rodgers 23/33 305 yards, 3 TD, 0 INT, 5 sacks
Aaron Jones 13 for 67, 7 catches 159 yards, 2TD
Jamal Williams 7 for 22, 3 catches 14 yards 2TD
High Targets for WR/TE Lazard/Graham 5 targets
Adams averaged 10.6 targets per game. But I also think we got a pretty lucky stretch of teams not playing well or missing some guys.
With that said, the RB involvement was legitimately special for everyone on of those games except Oakland. Can definitely see the allure of adding an upgrade over Williams and using the RB more this year. Also, Geronimo's performance over those first three weeks without Adams were putrid. We had better believe that MVS, ESB or Lazard are ready to step up this year.
