You really are mean.
The Knicks normally always end up picking just outside the last of the premium players each draft.

Ding!
Let's see if Rose has the "fixer" juice or POBO juice to trade up or whatever, and break this damn curse
The Knicks didn't cut the scouting department or made changes to it. In Walt Perrin, they've only just added one of the best drafting minds and executives in the Western conference , top 5 in all the NBA according to the following Reddit forum.

What team has the best scouting department?I know it's sort of impossible to determine, but I was just thinking about who consistently finds the diamonds in the rough in the draft?
Normal consensus is probably the Spurs but they haven't exactly killed it in the draft lately (kawhi was a great pick and Murray looks to be as well).
My money is on Denver. For the last 5 or 6 years they've constantly found guys late in the draft that have exceeded their draft slot.
Fournier Jokic Nurkic Gary Harris Hernangomez looks like he will be a player Beas will probably be solid.
Love to hear your thoughts on any team that's better.

Jazz are a great shout man. Didn't think about them but you're 100% right. Up there with Denver for sure. Hell Gordon turned into a star and was what, 7th pick? Lot of those dudes flame out.Continue this thread

Getting hard to pick up rough diamonds now as most of our steals (aside from Kawhi) were international players and there are a lot of scouts keeping an eye on them in recent years.
Plus Spurs always pick in the late 20s the last decade. I guess it is payback for having two #1 picks that actually panned out great.
