I was raised around these guys. Went to a school in the same conference as Baron T. Saw my first World Series game from the Yankee owner's box. Best athlete I knew was Johnny Carson's son who threw a one-hitter against a top public league team and struck out everyone but their cleanup hitter who caught up with his fatstball and smacked it over 400ft. My godfather was VP of S&Poors. I knew at least 3 guys worth over 100M when that meant something. But obviously you know better.

I really dont know what to say about any cop- that believes -they don't deserve
every negative form of energy that has come their way over the last week plus...Stop it already..
you know very well whats going on...Stop whining and purge your house of the trash officers!
Find some courage and get it done! Otherwise, we can just rebuild the entire public safety system
and YOU will be the cause of why your family cant eat...

I'm sorry but this job takes a strong and accountable human being to handle it. It not one of those
jobs that you can just "earn a living with". Not to mention, you (cops) dont even discipline your own
when they commit atrocities - you protect them- now you want to whine...

It was a very boo hoo and wah kind of response. Pretty much the anti-thesis of coming to the table. If anything, that contributes towards invalidating the police force as it is presently constituted even further. Very self-destructive, cornered animal snarling behavior.

Very unlikely it will gain meaningful traction even if they do. I'm a vocal progressive, married into a conservative family. My BIL is a cop. He's a good person, and I've always known him to do the right thing in life. He referred me to that video when I asked how he was doing yesterday. There was no discussion, just a link.

It is harrowing to realize just how much of a cult law enforcement is in this country.
