People really hated Hillary Clinton.
That hasn't carried over to Biden.
Hillary was certainly more of a lightening rod. So that must be Trump's strategy. He has to define Biden as an unacceptable choice bc of those past issues with Biden (plagiarism, Anita Hill, Medicare/Social Security, Mandela, etc.
Will that strategy work with those swing voters in the important swing states? Time will soon tell. The one thing that will continue to serve Biden well is Trump's sociopathy and ineptness.
Well, if he's going to do it, he better get started

The problem with that is Joe Biden is as generic Democrat as it gets. There is no real reason to have any strong feelings about Biden either way.
How do you vilify plain yogurt to a person who has been eating sh*t for 4 years. How do you convince them that plain yogurt is just as bad as sh*t, let alone sh*t being better?
Trump has been trying to say Biden is a major leftist, in order to gin up emotion. It hasn't worked.
I say this with all sincerity, the only path forward that makes sense for Trump is to start acting like a normal president, and hope that people forget how much they hate him.
I think he's so incapable of that, that his team has ruled out even considering it.
Yeah, did you see Trump's light bulb video I posted above? He's really losing his mind, if that was even possible.
Trump trying to portray Biden as a lefty is very misguided. That's definitely a dumb move. You don't even have to go there with Joe. Just paint him as the same establishment Democrat in vein of Obama and Clinton and that they will continue to sell out the average Joe (unlike Trump

).
I agree with you, generally, but we'll see. I have some reservations about how things will go in a COVID world when all of his multi-billionaire friends are dumping boatloads of money into his campaign. If he picks Kamala, that's even more of a concern.
I also have a big problem with "plain yogurt" at a time like this. It's like bringing water sprinkler to house fire. We need bold action now. Biden is saying some good things and some not so good things. But what happens in November? What parts of the Joint Bernie-Biden task force will end up the DNC platform and then how will those platform points get watered down once he's in office? It's like Obama negotiating Obamacare from a position of weakness. He didn't even ask for a public option in his plan. We've seen this time and time again from establishment Democrats. Plain yogurt is not going to get us out of this mess. Our system is broken.
But yogurt is a great side dish ... but I prefer mine with grated cucumber, garlic, and a little organic apple cider vinegar.
