Yeah I’m with you. A couple days ago Ayton was talking about how he rather be more focused on defense than offense. If KAT had that mentality then he would be one of the best bigs in the league. Ayton seems to get it.
I really thought that KAT would come out to become an elite two-way big and not just an offensive juggernaut. Perhaps WCS had indeed hid some of Towns' defensive weaknesses back in Kentucky.
KAT also struck me as being too much of a stat padder for my liking. There were games I saw during garbage time wherein he would bump his teammates just to add to his rebounding total.
