Strange game indeed, it happends, and it will keep happening in a bubble because teams did not go through normal camp and shooting form is all over the place. Suns beat Clippers , Blazers beat Rockets and Nets beat Bucks on a same night.
As for crying about development.
Isaac got hurt, nothing to do there.
Fultz was late to the camp, and from what i can see, him and Zion are only players who missed time from bubble for personal reasons, who do not have wife and/or kids on their own. What was so urgent that he could not solve with his mom and sister within 5 months and needed another weeks is beyond me. Or girlfriend. However, i can't shake off feeling he is being punished for it and rides bench now.
Bamba arived in such a poor condition that medical stuff limited him to 5 min a night. Do we really need to add anything to it? Good luck with development of athlete who probably did not run for 5 months straight because he was too busy bindging food and doing upper body bodybuilding only... or at least it looks that way.

Orlando lost this game because of horrible guard play. Augustin + Fournier = 9 points and Holiday + Oladipo = 25 points.
25 - 9 equals 16 points; in a game Orlando lost by only 11 points.
There is no grand meaning to this game beyond "Augustin and Fournier played very poorly".

We can't compete with a Fournier Agustin backcourt
100% this.
Honestly would think about moving Markelle back into that starting lineup soon.
Man it isn’t that simple. He needs to be aggressive breaking down a defense and making plays. If he can’t do that on the second unit than he sure as hell isnt going to do it with him on the floor with Vuc, Fournier, and Gordon. I mean take some threes off the dribble he looked good shooting the open ones he took. I wonder if it’s a Clifford issue but with his flashes of abilities running an offense I just don’t get it.

Fighting for a playoff seed is unanimously amongst coaches to not be a time to worry about developing youth.

He's doing terrible because he loves his role players and refuses to develop our younger talent. There's no reason why Markelle shouldn't be starting and Bamba getting DNPs.
At the very least, I thought Retread was gonna help Gordon take the next step, but that hasn't happened.
To me there's no special bond between him and his players.

also why a lot of us were not happy when they hired Cliff. We knew exactly what was going to happen, re sign vets to push for an 8th seed while ignoring youth. It wreaks of the Vuc 100M, re signing Aminu, not trading Fournier. We're going to finish 8th seed and honestly have we made any improvements?

Crying about the past and constantly posting for years the same ole sad story about how you wish management did things your way is not going to make things better for you. And, when it comes to developing youth, it is not like we have great youth being developed due to injuries, conditioning or motivational issues. If someone wants to be great, they should work at it and push themselves and not rely on the team gifting them anything. That is how players become great, not the other way around. I think the youth of this team get their chances. Playing 40 minutes isn't going to make them better unless they want it themselves. They will all get their chances in due time.
