I could honestly care less about the convention, so not watching.
He could put the Squad or anyone else, but I'm not listening either.

I mean, I don't think it matters really. I'm just somewhat surprised that they would want that association.

Biden: Latino community is diverse, ‘unlike the African American community’
President Donald Trump quickly attacked Biden over the remark.
Joe Biden said in remarks on Wednesday that the Latino community is "incredibly diverse," "unlike" the Black community.
"Unlike the African American community, with notable exceptions, the Latino community is an incredibly diverse community with incredibly diverse attitudes about different things," Biden said. "You go to Florida, you find a very different attitude about immigration than you do in Arizona. So it's a very diverse community."

Trump Can’t Stop Defamation Suit By His Rape Accuser, State Justice Rules
She may also continue to seek a sample of his DNA, a New York justice ruled.

President Donald Trump doesn’t have the grounds to stop a defamation lawsuit filed by a woman who accused him of raping her, a New York state justice ruled Thursday.
That decision is a big win for E. Jean, a magazine columnist who wrote last year that Trump raped her in a New York department store in the mid-1990s. Last November, she sued the president for defamation after he accused her of lying about the incident and sought to collect a DNA sample from him.
Trump’s legal team asked the New York Supreme Court to put the case on hold and argued that a sitting president is immune to any civil lawsuits in state court. But state Justice Verna Saunders rejected that argument, citing a U.S. Supreme Court ruling that Trump couldn’t refuse a subpoena for his tax returns on the basis of holding presidential office.
That finding is “applicable to all state court proceedings in which a sitting President is involved, including those involving his or her unofficial/personal conduct,” Saunders wrote in her decision.
Carroll tweeted that she was excited to move forward with her case, which will also allow her to continue seeking Trump’s DNA. She says that she kept the dress she had on when Trump allegedly raped her and that genetic material a lab found on the dress may match his.

He's an old school racist through and through. His condescension is unlimited. No idea how Black people can support him.
Can't wait for these debates and they had better be held in person.
BTW Wingo that was a very spicy Iraq War retort. Well done.

Susan Rice was a cheerleader for Bush’s invasion of Iraq (11/02, 12/02, 02/03)
Assistant secretary of state in the Clinton administration, Rice has been a prominent foreign policy spokesperson for the Obama campaign. Here are some of her claims shortly before the invasion of Iraq:
“I think he has proved that Iraq has these weapons and is hiding them, and I don’t think many informed people doubted that.” (NPR, Feb. 6, 2003)
“We need to be ready for the possibility that the attack against the U.S. could come in some form against the homeland, not necessarily on the battlefield against our forces. And I think there, too, is an area where the American people need to be better prepared by our leadership. … It’s clear that Iraq poses a major threat. It’s clear that its weapons of mass destruction need to be dealt with forcefully, and that’s the path we’re on. I think the question becomes whether we can keep the diplomatic balls in the air and not drop any, even as we move forward, as we must, on the military side.” (NPR, Dec. 20, 2002)
“I think the United States government has been clear since the first Bush administration about the threat that Iraq and Saddam Hussein poses. The United States policy has been regime change for many, many years, going well back into the Clinton administration. So it’s a question of timing and tactics. … We do not necessarily need a further Council resolution before we can enforce this and previous resolutions. (NPR, Nov. 11, 2002)
Susan Rice advocated the US stay in Iraq “for many years to come” (04/03)
From WaPo transcript (response to last question):
http://www.washingtonpost.com/...
Susan Rice: “To maximize our likelihood of success, the US is going to have to remain committed to and focused on reconstruction and rehabilitation of Iraq for many years to come. This administration and future ones will need to demonstrate a longer attention span than we have in Afghanistan, and we will have to embrace rather than evade the essential tasks of peacekeeping and nation building. We would be wise to involve as early as is feasible the UN and key allies in the complex tasks of democracy building and reconstruction, and we would be wise to help foster organic internal processes for selecting a new national leadership in Iraq, as the international community did in supporting the loya jirga process in Afghanistan. We can not be seen to select or anoint new Iraqi leaders. We need also to be to be exceedingly careful with the Americans coming in under General Garner to assume governance roles in Iraq.”
Of course, you can always "take it back." The other option is that I torture you forever.
Their recollections confirm what Rice wrote in her memoir, “Tough Love”: “From the start, I viewed that war of choice as a dangerous diversion from the main objective of defeating al-Qaida globally and in Afghanistan.” She served as an adviser to Howard Dean’s 2004 presidential campaign “because he was the only leading Democratic candidate to oppose the Iraq War.” She signed up with Barack Obama in 2007 because he had also opposed it.
In a December 2002 interview on NPR, she said, “It’s clear that Iraq poses a major threat. It’s clear that its weapons of mass destruction need to be dealt with forcefully, and that’s the path we’re on. I think the question becomes whether we can keep the diplomatic balls in the air and not drop any, even as we move forward, as we must, on the military side.”
But O’Hanlon notes, “The military options she alludes to are not specified. For the Clinton administration, they were typically airstrikes or cruise missile strikes of limited duration and effect, not invasions.”
Rice also endorsed the idea of “regime change.” But there is less there than meets the eye. Bill Clinton signed a bill making it U.S. policy to “support efforts to remove the regime headed by Saddam Hussein from power in Iraq and to promote the emergence of a democratic government to replace that regime.” But he didn’t mount an invasion. The point was to encourage Iraqis to do the job.
“I think he has proved that Iraq has these weapons and is hiding them, and I don’t think many informed people doubted that.” (NPR, Feb. 6, 2003)

This is such a crazy time right now, I wouldn’t be shocked if the Dems have to call a time out in order to make a substitution because Joe crumbles. But it is what it is at this point.
Trump has to go. Have you come to that realization yet?
