Giannis frame is not small what are you guys talking about, even as a rook you can tell he had a strong wiry frame that can easily put on more weight, also Giannis has that natural wiry strength that Poku doesn't have

Just remember his first name rhymes with his last name.
I was right about 3 point shooting. I expect to be right about Tacko Fall. Some coach will figure out how to use Tacko Fall. This movement towards undersized centers will sweep ng back. Back to the basket scorers will return to the NBA.

I mean Giannis definitely had wiry strength but jesus...if you told me he'd turn into this, I'd have not believed you.

Lower body Poku is actually pretty thick compared to Giannis.

Sure, no one has seen what he looks like playing against NBA or near-NBA competition.

Poku does have a solid base and very light upper body. Andrei Kirilenko was similar. You'd never believe that AK weighed 235 lbs just by looking at him, but he had strong legs. It's one of the reasons he didn't have too many injury issues during his career.

In this draft even though his floor is in the oasis of death valley, I can buy that the ceiling is worth the risk after the top 5.

core strength/balance is a lot more important than upper body strength in this sport
I think it's more like 165 lbs. TMac had a hard time with it too.
NBA Combine uses 185 lbs. Arm length plays a huge role in bench.

On the list of things worry about, this doesn't seem to be it. I think with him you have to hope he doesn't fill out much more and lose whatever mobility he has now.

That's most definitely a small frame. In particular, a quite small chest and shoulders.

I think some people are getting confused, maybe it's a language barrier thing I don't know. I think when most people talk about a small frame in terms of scouting, they're saying it's a narrow frame. Poku has a narrow frame, Giannis did not.

Not sure if this was tongue in cheek, Andrei was injured pretty frequently...he only played over 72 games in his first three seasons, played 72 in 07-08, and 70 in 06-07.

Giannis has a small chest and small shoulders. Even now, he has a small chest and small shoulders. He also has small legs, even now. I really don't see how he has anything but a small frame under any definition, if we are talking about size in relation.
If you mean as compared to any man, since he is 6-11, then of course he has a large frame, because he's 6-11 and in proportion. if you are talking about as compared to an average frame for a 6-11 tall man, then Giannis without any doubt whatsoever, has a small frame - even right now, he has a small frame compared to a typical 7 footer.

Giannis def has a narrow-ish frame, he is super well built now but is an ectomorph

Its the lower body that needs work but you do make a valid point...
He needs to be more fluid in the hips when switching so he doesnt get burned so maybe some fn yoga or a month training with Tony Jaa would solve it.
