Get your popcorn ready because Silver is going to bless us with the number 1 pick! I believe we luck out like we did in the Derrick Rose lottery and land the number 1 pick. We did everything necessary like get rid of the gm and fire the coach. The Nba is always better when the Bulls are in the playoffs. Can't wait for tonight! I'll be back here after the lottery to celebrate with you guys. Peace and stay safe!

All the tools in the world, but not what he was supposed to be.

I DO like he's talking about defense. Either that's his agent or that's from his heart. I like reports of his work ethic. I hope those things are true. My gut says stay away, but I'm open to be wrong on him.

I like Edwards. He seems genuine in his plight to get better and stay working at his game. Sky is the limit for him. I see him atleast as a Joe Johnson level player. If Zach asked for a trade, atleast we could build the backcourt around Edwards/White, which would be pretty solid.

If we somehow came outta this draft with Edwards + AK + Eversley + a new HC, this would be my happiest as a fan in a minute.

Jaylen Brown was really not that good as a freshman. People thought Ainge was an idiot for taking him over Kris Dunn. Look how that turned out.

Among many teams, there is interest in connecting the mid-October draft and free-agency periods so that they could be delayed together, sources said.

#7 is the expected, but what’s the worst pick we can get? I need to prepare for that.

yeah that's a good one. i feel like he had a little more...toolsy-ness boosting his stock than the other guys i'm thinking of? although i guess wiggins was supposed to be a great defensive talent lol

i'm picturing "great scorer, might not be good at anything else, and also he might not even be that efficient as a scorer" as the specific prospect mold i have in mind. rj barrett is another one.

(but like i just mentioned with wiggins, my memory might be foggy about how prospects were perceived at the time of the draft based on how they ended up performing on the league)

I thought jalen was taken for his intangibles not as a scorer with not much else. Didn't follow him too closely that draft so I could be wrong lol

I fully expect the Bulls to drop to 8th or 9th, and I won't really care.

That way if we jump to top 4 I will consider it very exciting!

And I am fully expecting them to jump to the top 4 because we're due. The NBA needs to get the Bulls back to being a top tier franchise again.

i am expecting to move down, albeit with a reasonable shot of moving up and a decent chance of staying put too. as that's what the odds are.

I am actually oddly suddenly kind of hyped about it. Guess it's my gambler's urge. If we did move up, it would really liven up this board. I don't think most of us are excited at all about the guys on the draft board, but I sure as **** think a lot of us would be if we had that #2 pick awaiting us!

No Whammy No Whammy No Whammy

its gonna be #8 isn't it

Jaylen Brown also was pretty much a bust before this year. So if he had gone to Minnesota and probably not given much development, he probably isn't making the jump he made this year. All AK has been talking about is developing players, so with Edwards, who has all the tools, you hope your coaching staff can maximize what he can do. Also like some had said this isn't an exact science. If it was Giannis wouldn't have gone 15th.

You don't draft a wing that high thinking they're going to stink as a scorer.

This is not to say that they sometimes don't but it's certainly not like a GM thinks "yeah this 12PPG glue guy is really gonna be worth the #3 pick."

Yeah. The Jimmy Butler (not Tomball role-player version) comparisons were very strong with Brown.

Huh? He's been greatly improving since last season. This season has show that he's a star in the making but he's always been a good player.
