Eh, I feel like people say that about every no.1 option that doesn't win.
A healthy Chris Paul and/or a few bounces or calls going his way in 2018 and we would be talking about the guy who took down the fully healthy Warriors with KD and not those half dead scrubs the Raps barely beat last season (what up Jay, Ovo?). Replace him with KD now that i'm mentioned him and tell me he doesn't win multiple rings.
Still can't believe people actually hold KD in a higher regard only due to those worthless rings while taking advantage of historically bad defenses.
I'd actually bet on Warriors 3-peating had Harden joined them considering the guy is an ironman playing every game, carrying his team's offense night in night out which he definitely wouldn't be doing on the Warriors. He'd probably be on that Kawhi load management plan the moment he'd feel any soreness.
I'm not even a fan of the guy or his play style and while he sure has his flaws this line of thinking is exactly why you see more and more guys ring chasing. I mean, you could put him on the Hornets or the Wolves and he never gets close to even making the conference Finals or you could put him on the Warriors as I said earlier and he'd win multiple rings, that does really make him any worse or better as a player?
