tucker is the perfect small ball 4 for houston.. and why in gods name is OKC getting 3 good players and 2 picks for paul? why are we treating paul like lebron james?
Houston doesn't skip a beat, they just slide Covington to the 4:
Westbrook/Rivers
Harden/Mclemore
House
Covington/Carroll
Horford/Green
I've told you, specifically, several times that Chris Paul is still a very high impact player. He ranks at the top in every advanced metric. He's the biggest reason the Thunder made a playoff push in the first place and are tied 2-2 with Houston. I personally think that's a fair package for him. Would you be willing to share what you think he's worth?
This deal is great for us and looks pretty good for OKC and HOU. I really think this is the best approach, to use JRich as the value add in moving Horford for a better (perfect) fit in Chris Paul. We will NOT be able to resign JRich after next season anyway due to our super bloated payroll, so this is the best use for him.
