Both teams will always be able to play their ideal players the minutes they want.

Both teams will be able to play their best games against each other and it's up to which team is better. I like that. No "bad matchup" stuff that mucks things up.

This one is going to be pure best vs best.

If we get there.

Respect. I like Giannis, but would’ve less if he demanded out. But..... don’t sign the Supermax and keep your options open. Don’t ask out, but no need to commit unnecessarily early either

I like our chances better with Miami though. I agree having Iggy made them better, especially them having a young core with no playoff experience, other than Butler.

If we do get to the ECF and face Miami, who is going to guard Herro?

Bucks will never have the cap to build a contender with Giannis. He might wait an extra year to bail like Westbrook did but hes good as gone.

Great game by Rondo tonight. I don't think LeBron and Davis can do it alone.

Iggy is pretty poor offensively though. I feel like Miami can put out 5 really good offensive players or 5 really good defensive ones. Jimmy and Bam are the only 2 way elites yet they aren't much of a threat from 3.

Let's be honest.. The Bucks looked like they didn't even want to be in the bubble. Their struggles started long before the Miami series. Only team to lose a game in the first round in the East. Slow, old, unathletic team outside Giannis and Bledsoe, the latter who completely sucked. Im more confident vs Miami than I was/am vs Toronto.

Well I for 1 am happy to see this. I do not want to see him team up on another team with another great player...unless it's in the West.

Smart and Kemba probably.

Biggest question is, who is Herro going to guard? Him and Duncan will get lit up like a Christmas tree on pretty much anybody we have.

If Clippers stay healthy, Lebron/Davis will need help to get by the LA Clippers. Against Houston, they appear to need less help. Houston is not the same team as they were a couple of years ago.

Hopefully, Celtics get by Toronto in 6.

Assuming that, Duncan may be lit up a bit but from I have seen Herro will have little problem defending several Celtics players in the halfcourt at least.

Take Smart and even Brown. If Herro is guarding them will Stevens want to try to live and die with those 2 players going 1 on 1 against Herro? Maybe Brown but Miami has a reasonable last line of defense.

Smart/Brown were drafted as high as they were because of their defense.
Walker was obviously drafted for his offense and he is an excellent offensive player but unlike Kyrie Irving, Walker doesn't try to score 30 points every game. He is happy scoring mostly n the flow of the game.

That being said, I don't think Miami has anyone including Jimmy Butler that the Celtics can't defend reasonably well so it will be a question of how well Boston stops Miami in executing its offense. They have enough shooters/athleticism to go alongside Jimmy Butler that they are hard to defend because of their teamwork. But unlike the last time when Butler faced the Celtics in the playoffs, this time he has a stronger/healthier supporting cast.

What will be kind of interesting to know is whether relatively speaking Steven prioritizes defending Dragic or Herro more. Butler will be Celtics #1 target but when both Dragic/Herro in the game, I could see Stevens prioritizing Herro with a better perimeter defender and just hoping a big is enough to discourage some of Dragic's drives to the basket.

Same here. The heat play like us in a way. They play Bam a lot at the 5, which a good matchup size wise with Theis. I like our man to man matchup against them. Plus we have more experience than their guys. Should be a better series.

Exactly! Dragic is no defensive guard as well. Though they are not offensively challenged as the raps, they could really light it up from beyond the arc.

Raps arent even that offensively challenged they have just ran into a buzzsaw defensively. I expect similar things to happen to Herro, Dragic, Robinson, Crowder as you see happening to Lowry, FVV, Siakam etc.. Norman Powell is a 16ppg player and he is averaging 8ppg against Boston. Celtics wing speed, length and two way play will win us that series in 5 or 6 unless Butler goes mental and averages like 35+ while holding Tatum to like 15 a game.

PS. If Toronto beats us, I also expect them to win in 6 over Miami. Just feel this Bucks series was more about Milwaukee than them. But we will see..

I'm more scared of the Raptors than I am of the Heat.

Theis can match up pretty well with Bam, Jimmy will be on Tatum.

How are you hiding Duncan? And Herro? Do you guard Hayward and Brown with Crowder and Iguodala and trust them to make shots?

I don't know, I feel me might have the edge here if we get Hayward back and Tatum/Brown don't **** the bed.
Robert Horry is better than MJ, because everybody knows that 7>6.

Good. They can still beat the Lakers. Playoff Rondo needs to stop helping the enemy.

I don’t trust anything he says now. That’s all pure emotions, wanting redemption and all. The thing is, he will soon realize that he can’t win with the bucks. He probably won’t request a trade, but if he don’t sign that extension, then he will probably leave them on free agency. Let’s just hope he goes west :D

Hoping for both West Semis series to extend to at least six games. If Cs lose Friday (they won't), then never mind. **** it all!

They should bring in a rule that bans the trading of supermax players being traded. And if by mutual agreement the player is to be traded, the value of the contract drops back to a normal max.

And also allow for extensions to be signed longer than 12 months out from the expiry of the existing contract
