That really wouldn't upgrade the Clippers roster. Horford looked a step slow in these playoffs, maybe age is getting to him. I'd much rather keep Zubac at the 5. He improved a lot this year and if he works with the right people can improve again.
My guess they will be looking to take on money but only from teams willing to send one of their stars along with the money. Basically, if they get more talent back. Otherwise, they aren't taking someone like Horford who will only get another year older and really went downhill in the playoffs.
I'd say OKC may be looking to unload to rebuild but no one is taking Paul's salary. He will likely get bought out and join LeBron. Maybe Schroeder. Maybe Bradley, but Wall again has supermax, no one will touch that besides swapping for another supermax, like CP3 was traded for Westbrook.
Remember, Clippers have Jerry West advising them, he won't allow salary dump deals unless they get talent back.
I'd like to see Doc out. He should have lit a fire after the game 5 let down, instead he allowed the team to break apart the next 2 3rd quarters in game 6 and 7. He was trying to be positive, when he should have instead do what Phil Jackson or Pop would have done so that it wouldn't have happened again in Game 6.
