What makes them "stacked" then? And since you say they'd have to add another top 5 player (difficult since two of them play on the lakers), they are not stacked right now? Are the lakers then stacked, or maybe even super stacked?
I like how everyone who has an interest in downplaying Kawhis meaning (be it leBron stans who fear he could take over, Spurs fans bitter over the way he departed or Raptors fans still salty that he didnt sign) is acting like those Raptors were a superteam everyone wanted to play on. They were looking for a legit star for years and noone thought they'd be any good. NOONE. NOw all those couch experts knew it all the time, and Kawhi bringing the title wasnt so meaningful. Why is it so hard to admit that he is exceptional and did somethign special there in his one and only year?
Since Masai came there was really never any opportunities to sign a superstar free agent due to cap space and they're incredibly rare to come by in trade.
What everyone is describing as stacked is the Raptors as a supporting cast. I don't know why you can't wrap your head around that. they made no major changes to this team from last year, so literally just add Kawhi and Danny Green to this roster.
Yeah i know thats who they lost. They made it to the second round in the east, good job beating the nets without KD and Kyrie. What i dont get is how and why one would claim they are stacked. Simple as that. Maybe we just have different ideas of what "stacking" means.
