I thought it was at first but after watching it for awhile it looks like he keeps the pivot foot, his right foot came like 2 inches off the ground when he hopped off his pivot foot so he technically jumped. Not a travel, just good footwork

You can pick up your pivot foot but you have to release the ball before the pivot foot comes back down.

It's the second step. What do people think picking up a dribble and taking two steps to layup is, since the first step is the pivot foot and lifts off the floor, but the jump comes off the second step?

Or do people seriously think you jump off the pivot foot?

Do a layup, do you jump off your first step or second? Now change the direction of the layup so you are fading.

100% clean. Was never a travel. You can pick up your pivot foot but have to shoot before it returns to the ground.

He picks up his dribble, takes two steps, pivots, turns, turns again, and then takes a third step as he's shooting.

Edit: I guess you could call one of those the gather. There's a lot of questionable foot shuffling going on there.

if you establish a pivot foot (jokic's left foot), you can continue taking as many steps with your off foot (right) as you are allowed without moving your pivot foot

watch it carefully, jokic did not move his pivot foot (left), jumps off his right foot for the jumper

Not a travel. Similar to a step thru move - you can lift your pivot foot as long as you release the ball before it comes down.

I've always thought if you're static you're simply not allowed to make 2 steps like Jokic does here, and if you're not static you can. My body and mind don't wanna accept that this is not a travel, even tho ppl here claim it isn't.
