Is it right to say that Brown is like their Spree while Tatum is like H2O?

More like Brown is their Kawhi and Tatum is their Pandemic P :o

Stevens a little overrated. Leaving Dragic open all night on purpose and he’s making enough. Also Brown needs to be a bigger part of the offense — in some ways he’s harder to handle than Tatum and it’s not like Tatum’s handle is so great or he’s Tyler Herro being able to shoot in motion.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a player roll his eyes at someone getting a bounce like that at the line. Immature.

Hot take:

The Tatum is a future superstar talk comes from closet xenophobes who are sick of Giannis, Jokic, Doncic and Murray (or from Boston fans).

He’s very good obviously but he’s not that special.

Tatum plays better when he doesn't force the issue. I get it, being aggressive and that's what he wanted in the 2nd half after struggling in the first. But when he starts trying to be Kobe, that's when he falters. He's not there yet. I hope this experience humbles him so he can work on playing more composed. He tries to do too much sometimes, especially in the closing minutes.

Saying Tatums not special is about as silly as all these hot takes on herro for one great game. But thats what knicks fans do

No he's not. At their level, you can't be that harsh. Both are great, I think PG is the better player actually.

Tatum has been by far the superior player in the playoffs. There’s no comparison.

Bro I said it’s hot take for a reason, I was just being provocative. I know there’s plenty of reasons to like Tatum, although I do think my point is valid for some people like SAS, who notoriously hates Euros and is scrambling to hype up any rising American star.

In all seriousness, you can make the case for Tatum for the reasons you mentioned, I just don’t see him as a Kobe/Bron level-talent. He’s an excellent all-around player and the production is great but I don’t think he has the creativity or the basketball genius to become a true superstar. He still has room to grow, obviously, but his game is a little too mechanical or methodical to be that future MVP-level talent imo. He might be better than all of them now, but I think guys like Trae, Book and Zion have a higher upside.

He’s special. My point was that he’s not that special.

I still think it’s a lazy take. Cause I’ve seen plenty of people who love Euro players and think Tatum is a super star. I mean I even think Luka is the real deal and Giannis in my eyes is the most dominant player since Shaq. I also love Murray, another player you mentioned. It has nothing to do with being “xenophobia”. I’m even calling for the Knicks to draft Killian Hayes. We just think Tatum is legit. That’s all it is. Call it personal preference. But xenophobia is a reach bro.
