The Tatum is a future superstar talk comes from closet xenophobes who are sick of Giannis, Jokic, Doncic and Murray (or from Boston fans).
He’s very good obviously but he’s not that special.
Make that 7.
Jokic? I got something for you. Ion know how u can hate on Tatum but stan hard for Jokic when Tatum better as a 22 year old. Lol. Ain’t nothing bout being a “xenophobe” when Tatum putting up numbers that only Kobe and Bron did at the same age bro. That’s a lazy take
Bro I said it’s hot take for a reason, I was just being provocative. I know there’s plenty of reasons to like Tatum, although I do think my point is valid for some people like SAS, who notoriously hates Euros and is scrambling to hype up any rising American star.
In all seriousness, you can make the case for Tatum for the reasons you mentioned, I just don’t see him as a Kobe/Bron level-talent. He’s an excellent all-around player and the production is great but I don’t think he has the creativity or the basketball genius to become a true superstar. He still has room to grow, obviously, but his game is a little too mechanical or methodical to be that future MVP-level talent imo. He might be better than all of them now, but I think guys like Trae, Book and Zion have a higher upside.
He’s special. My point was that he’s not that special.
