He is good enough of a ball handler to go to his right, that's without question, but he still finishes predominately with his left hand. He needs to work finishing with his right a lot better, otherwise, NBA teams are going to stop that once he gets to the basket.

At number 4, he is still my number one prospect at this stage.
Why so serious?

Hayes is the unsexy pick that a lot of people will regret not making in 4-5 years.

Welp. I wasn't high on Wiseman or Toppin anyway, but that doesn't project much confidence from Edwards.

Edit: Nesmith, Vassell and Williams also a no show. Wow, people learned a lot from Garland last year.

There will be plenty of focus on the young guys. The FO is going to bring in as much young talent as possible if we follow the Nuggets model.

Props to Ball for not hiding because I feel like he only has to lose from that move, and not much to gain. Maybe he does good enough for Minnesota to engineer a deal with someone or convince them that there's some flex with a D-Lo, Ball backcourt.

The combine will do nothing to help the top tier prospects so no point in participating unless you're unsure of where you're going to land.

Edwards solidified himself as no less than a Top 2 pick from his play in NCAA. He's got probably the best productivity to go along with a high ceiling. I think it's a good decision on his part to not participate.

If I'm Wiseman though, I'm definitely letting the hype do the talking for me, especially since a ton of big boards have him as a Top 3 prospect even on that small sample size. There's a lot for Obi to lose as well with only 1 year of elite production. Better to leave off on a good note, than raise more questions about his position as a tweener.

Hiding has nothing to gain as with the case of Wiseman because he has been a mystery man and his stock will continue to plummet. Toppin will suffer as well but Edwards will be the few unique guys that can get away with it and still be the top pick.
Ball doesnt want to be drafted by GS so he is obviously gunning #1,3,4 as his destination where he can be the primary ball handler and be the guy. At this point, its pretty much safe to say Wiseman will be the guy falling to the Bulls unless he had a promise.
Lamelo will be a future superstar Bull. Book it. Lavar for president!

As of right I still have Edwards going #1, and if GSW keeps the pick, I think they’ll draft Deni. Charlotte in my opinion will draft Wiseman, which leaves the Bulls the option to draft Ball or Hayes.

Can’t see Deni going number 2 in the draft.

I'd actually like to buy another 2nd round pick. It would come very cheap and could actually yield something.

When most people consider you the mystery man and you're projected to go top 5 anyway, there's absolutely no reason to attend the combine. Never been a Wiseman fan, but that's just the obvious thing to do for him.

Interesting that Ball will apparently be there, though.

I don't even see what makes him unsexy tbh. Super smart guy, great passing instincts, flashed some really fun shot creation as well. Love watching the guy play.

Who do you see GSW selecting if they keep the pick?

Me too, but apparently we're in the minority, because apart from the ringer and NBADraft Net, other sites (as well as a lot of posters) think he should go mid-lottery, which I don't agree at all.

Hayes doesn't have a 43 inch vertical jump. Pass. That's the mindset of some.

Nobody here should be sold on any prospect yet. I'm telling you predraft workouts will change everything this particular draft.

A couple of these 3-14 lottery picks are going to show some major improvements. Those are the prospects I would be interested in and why I think in the end AK keeps the #4 because some specific prospect will have vastly improved in one or more areas to the point that AK will be sold on them as our pick.

Players that could rise include Deni (shooting), Hayes (various skills/shooting), Okoro (offensive game/shooting), Wiseman (not participating), Okongwu (offensive game), Patrick Williams (shooting/offense), Cole Anthony (shooting/health), Tyrell Terry (defense/various skills), Kira Lewis (Strength/Various Skills), RJ (defense/shooting), Poku (various skills).
