How much will Tristan Thompson be offered by the Cavs? (I thought of him because of the WT saying he and the Cavs had "mutual interest".)
Marc Gasol may not get a lot of money.
Boogie Cousins is worth the cheapest possible flyer given his injury luck, but may prefer LA.
I don't have a comparable list of perimeter players at my fingertips.
Let's hope Timelord can turn into the cheaper version of Tristan Thompson as soon as this offseason so we won't have to pay Tristan Thompson.
I would love Marc Gasol on the team, but not to play much. Maybe 10-12 minutes off the bench on regular nights and bigger minutes against Embiid, Jokic, AD, etc. More mentor role for our bigs and solid vet in the locker room. He might be a bit washed on the court, but he's one of the high BBIQ guys any team would love to have at the end of the bench this late in his career. I dunno how much he'll demand.
Flat-out no to Boogie. Kyrie was enough of a headache. We've seen this season what a harmonious locker room can do to the running of a well-oiled machine. No need for monkey wrenches.
Gasol, oddly, could be a "poor man's Aron Baynes".
