Wow, you made it happen!
Actually I just read that Butler almost set the all-time playoff record for most combined points made and assisted. I think he had 73 tonight, but someone had 74 once?
Just as a bball fan though, I'm glad the Heat stood up and made this a series. And if disaster happens, and somehow the Heat come back and win, at least there'll be the consolation prize of all the outraged, depressed Lakers fans.
Indeed, it's really kind of amazing the amount of momentum this series represents for LeBron and the Lake Show. Win it, and one could see more chips to follow, with LeBron pretty well dispelling all doubts about his GOAThood in the next couple years. Lose it, and I could also see maybe another groin injury next season, or his athleticism finally starting to fade... with the team unable to really improve its roster... and the ride being over before it began. And of course have LeBron's detractors gleefully jumping all over another finals loss.
I hope he makes it, though. It's always cool to see great players crushing it before one's eyes, just like I got to see most of Jordan's run, too.
